Christians persecuted: jihadists’ carnages with kids’ kidnapping in Africa. On Christmas Bethlehem forbidden for Gaza’s faithful by Bibi
di Fabio Giuseppe Carlo Carisio
UPDATE DECEMBER, 23, 2019
Fortunately, good news arrives for the majority Orthodox Christians in the Gaza Strip as the Israeli authorities after the initial ban on moving to the West Bank for a pilgrimage to Bethlehem and Jerusalem granted last minute permits without discrimination. This was announced by General Kamil Abu Rukun at the head of COGAT, the coordination unit for the activities of the Israeli government in the Palestinian territories. In the information disseminated by the Israeli body, it was specified that permits will be granted to individuals on the basis of “security assessments” and without taking into account the age of the applicants.
Persecuted Christians: Christmas Masses canceled in India and Iraq
The late decision, however, has prevented the faithful from organizing and so far only 60 people have requested authorization to cross Israel to go to places in the Holy Land on Palestinian territory, according to reports from Fides, the press agency of the Pontifical Works Missionaries. But the situation remains dramatic in Iraq and especially in India where the persecutions of Hindu fundamentalists intensified precisely to ruin the Christmas celebration for believers in Christ.

Other mssacres, other marginalization for racial and religious reasons. Always and only in their sights: the Christians. Persecuted not only by Islamic fundamentalists but also opposed by Zionist extremists such as temporary Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
If the jihadists in Kenya and Nigeria have made the umpteenth massacres that now find much more space on social media than on the European media, the current Israeli ruler, heirs of the Zionist movement and forced to pretend to be friends of Christianity, being this the first western religious confession, even if they did not manage to kill, they gave themselves the caprice, as boss in the Holy Land thanks to the powerful missile armaments, to ghettoize the Palestinians baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to prevent them from celebrating one of the most important festivities in nearby Bethlehem and Jerusalem: the birth of the Creator.
There is no doubt that between killing with premeditated, merciless ferocity a person and depriving him of a right to pilgrimage to a sacred place there is at least as much distance as the Red Sea, through which the Jewish people fled to conquer the Promised Land, then lost, according to biblical prophets, for his unfaithfulness to God …
But the latent ideology remains the same. That of wanting to annihilate, up to martyrdom in one case, up to the marginalization in the other, the dignity of persons devoted to a different religious confession. As emerged also in the terrible story of the young Pakistani Huma Younas, kidnapped at the age of 14 by a Muslim who forced her to convert to Islam to have the legal right to marry her although a minor…
I write these things feeling the breath on the neck of the parliamentary Commission Segre just established in Italy that would have been founded for the censorship of every form of racism but I fear that it will end up dealing only with Migrants and Anti-Semitism, ignoring discrimination against Christians or other ethnic groups “uncomfortable” like the Kurds, banned from Turkey in 1922 and now persecuted in Syria.
The Erdogan’s genocide continues: blessed by Christian, Jewish and Islamic religious heads
Before narrating the last terrible news stories, I state that I am not at all anti-Semitic because, as a Christian, I recognize the lineage of Shem (blessed son of Noah) and the chosen people of the tribe of Judah as depositories of the Revelation reported in the Torah Jewish holy books (Pentateuch) and then Tanach, and I respect all believers in this cult, even if they did not believed in the Messiah.
However, I claim the right to proclaim myself an Anti-Zionist. Those who have studied history know that Zionism is that POLITICAL movement born at the end of the 1800s to protect the Askenazitic dynasty (the majority of Kazar and therefore non-Judean origins) from the social rancor aroused by the control and speculation of the global banking system through the ‘usury. Therefore to declare yourself an anti-Zionist is to declare yourself an anti-Nazi or anti-Communist.
And if someone wanted to object that the latter did holocausts and the others didn’t read all the detailed reports on Syria and the Lobby of Arms that I wrote about the infamous war actions of Benjamin Netanyahu: there are facts, not opinions, between whose agreements on Israeli military supplies to Ukrainian neo-Nazis, a clear outrage to the Holocaust’s memory endorsed by NATO…
BOKO HARAM: MASSACRE WITH KIDS’ ABDUCTION AT FUNERAL
Having exhausted this necessary premise, to which I will soon dedicate a broader reflection after Christmas, we come to the bloody events of this week in Africa, a Continent really increasingly Black precisely due to the cyclical massacres of Christians.
The murderous fury of Boko Haram, the radical Nigerian Islamic group that boasts ties to international terrorist organizations such as ISIS, has been spreading terror and blood in the north of Cameroon since December 1st. On 10 December, the traitorous ambush occurred in the Mayo Sava district, as BarnabasAid reports, an African foundation supporting Christians.
The premeditation and the ferocity remember the recent attack in Burkina Faso during a Mass and the one that took place in Egypt a year ago to the faithful Copts on the return of a baptism. The jihadists, armed with the usual kalashnikov semi-automatic rifles, have fallen into the crowd shooting. Gathering for a funeral in Kotserehé. forcing everyone to flee. The lucky ones managed to escape. But 7 people were killed. “The place of mourning has turned into a theater of war culminating in a massacre,” said a witness to the bloody tragedy.
The savage assault was so sudden that women fled without having time to take away the children away from them. Therefore 21 children and some young adults have been abducted by Boko Haram who uses girls as sex slaves and instead forces boys and men to convert and forced militancy.
THEY DON’T RECITE THE SHAHADA: ALMOST 9 KILLED
Exactly because they did not agree to change over, other Christians died a few days earlier in Kenya
.
«International Christian Concern has learned that on December 6, 2019, 11 non-local Christian passengers were attacked while travelling to Mandera from Nairobi and killed at Kotulo in northeastern Kenya. They were reportedly separated from their Muslim counterparts and killed for failing to recite the Islamic Shahada. Confirming the incident, a Kenyan police officer told ICC, “A passenger bus belonging to Medina Bus Company, traveling between Wajir and Mandera was attacked by a criminal gang”» reports Persecutions ICC website.
Militants divided the passengers into groups, targeting only those who were not from the area. And those who have not wanted or been able to recite the Shahada, the testimony of faith to Allah, have been shot. Nine are the confirmed dead: Athanus Kiti, Enos Odhiambo, Kelvin Mandela, Wisely Meli, Tikane Kasale, Leonard Mukanda, Francis Mbuvi, Rodgers Machuka e Anchari Okerosi. Instead other two are missing: Emmanuel Barasa e Nathan Bett. Among the dead pepole there are almost a cop, a teacher and a doctor.
The terrorist ambush was attributed to the jihadis by the governor of Mandera who expressed his regret and condemnation for the vile aggression.
«I am deeply saddened to learn of the heinous bus attack near Kotulo, Wajir. I am informed that the suspected al-Shabaab fighters cowardly segregated non-locals heading to Mandera from Nairobi. It is extremely sad and humanly disturbing to learn that, yet again, they segregated locals from non-locals before killing those they believed to be non-locals».
It is common in northeastern Kenya for terrorists to target buses, separate passengers by religious identity, and kill the Christians.
Islamist formation of al-Shabaab is affiliated with Al Qaeda and is originally from Somalia where, in the hands of these jihadists, the Italian cooperator Silvia Romano, a kidnapped November 20, 2018 in Chakama, a Kenyan village 80 kilometers from Malindi..
In 2018, Fredrick Ngui Ngonde and Joshua Ooko Obila were killed in a similar manner for declining to recite the Islamic creed along the Garissa Masalani road. In 2015, 148 students at Garissa University were killed by gunmen after the Muslim students were freed. In the same year, a Muslim teacher, Salah Farah, was shot for defending Christian passengers who were being separated for execution by al-Shabaab.
In 2014, 28 teachers traveling to Nairobi for the Christmas holiday were killed after being forced to recite the Islamic statement of faith.
Nathan Johnson, ICC’s Regional Manager for Africa, commented, “We pray for the families of the deceased and for peace. We hope that the government will take effective action to stop the senseless killing of so many Christians in Kenya at the hands of Islamic extremists like al-Shabaab. We praise God as the refuge and strong tower that He is for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ who continue to endure so much.”
PRETI E VOLONTARI PUGNALATI, MUTILATI E BRUCIATI PERCHE’ CRISTIANI
CHRISTMAS IN BETHLEHEM FORBIDDEN FOR GAZA’S ORTODOX
«All the data collected in recent years confirm the constant increase in the number of pilgrims and tourists who come from all over the world to Jerusalem and Bethlehem to visit the Holy Places especially on the occasion of the Christian solemnities of Christmas and Easter. But this year, among the many who will celebrate the Christmas holidays where Christ was born, died and rose again, there will be no Christians in the Gaza Strip».
Begins with this thread of bitterness the note from Fides, the press agency of the Pontifical Mission Societies, to inform how much has not yet had great prominence in the media despite the launch of yesterday’s Reuters: the failure to issue permits to Christian Palestinians, even if only to visit the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem. The famous monument, located in the Palestinian West Bank, has been a Unesco heritage since 2012 and consists of the combination of two churches and a crypt, called the Nativity cave, which represents the precise place where Jesus was born.
«Twice a year, at Christmas and Easter, the Cogat, an Israeli defense ministry body that coordinates government activities in the Palestinian territories under occupation, issues permits that allow a number of Gazans to go out and meet the relatives who live outside the Gaza Strip and spend a few days of vacation together», the Holi Land website also reports, which then goes into detail.
«According to the American news agency Reuters, yesterday – December 12 – a Cogat spokesman announced that this time the Christians of Gaza will not be able to travel to Israel and the West Bank. They will therefore not be able to visit cities such as Bethlehem, Jerusalem or Nazareth».
«On Thursday 12 December, Israeli authorities announced that the baptized Palestinians could only be granted permits to go abroad, via Jordan, but none of them could go to Israel or the West Bank to spend their Christmas days at the Holy Places Christians. The spokeswoman of the Israeli military office that deals with relations with the Palestinians has justified this provision by referring to security reasons» Fides reports, without of course specifying that the continuous escalations in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, also in last days, have often been consequent to provocations military of the Israel Defences Forces, the Tel Aviv army, ordered by Prime Minister Nethanyahu (on prorogation after two parliamentary elections ended without a majority and therefore without the appointment of a new PM).
«The measure taken this year by the Israeli authorities represents a further step in the process of progressive restriction from the provisions implemented by Israel in similar circumstances – adds the agency of the Pontifical Missionary Works – In recent years, the Israeli authorities had sometimes guaranteed a limited but substantial number of permits reserved for Christians in Gaza who wanted to go especially to Bethlehem, Nazareth or Jerusalem to celebrate the Christian holidays of Christmas or Easter. Last year there was already a substantial limitation of the permits granted by the Israeli authorities, which had been reserved only for people over the age of 55».
Christians in the Gaza Strip are now just over a thousand, mostly Greek Orthodox, out of a total population of 2 million Palestinians. The small Christian reality of that strip of territory with an Islamic majority continues to shrink: the young people who succeed, leave the land in which they were born to emigrate, while in the churches the funerals of the elderly who end their earthly life are often celebrated.
It is an exodus similar to what is happening faster and more heavily in Syrian Rojava since the invasion of the Turkish army attacking the positions of the Kurdish SDF and YPG militias as it leaves its jihadist allies, often commanded by former heads of factions affiliated with Al Qaeda or Isis, the task of attacking and massacring both Kurdish and Christian civilians, actually pushing them to emigrate to carry out the plan for an ethnic substitution with demographic change, under the indifferent eyes of NATO and of italian Senator Liliana Segre, the hebrew woman surviving from Auschwitz camp.
