The SECRETS of ZELENSKY’s KRONOS SUBMARINE. Funded by UK & UAE but Armed by Italian Black Scorpions Torpedoes

Around August 2022, the Internet was filled with information about Ukraine’s development of modernized small submarines, which bore the beautiful name “Kronos”. Officially, the development was carried out by the Ukrainian company “Ukroboronprom” together with the British company Highland Systems, whose production facilities are located in the city of Ras El Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
The device has the form of an underwater “spaceship” (length – 9 meters, width – 7.4 meters, speed on the surface of the water – 80 km/h, under water – about 60 km/h, capable of carrying up to 10 crew members and up to 10 tons of cargo. It was supposed to be used for sabotage missions, because it has low radar visibility and the engine is extremely quiet.
Furthermore, the Italian company Leonardo (participated and financed by the Italian Government – note from Gospa News), has been directly involved in the development of these products of military futurism in financial terms. In particular, the war industry is destined to deal with the supply of small-sized Black Scorpion torpedo systems to these submarines.
Black Scorpion Torpedoes Built by Leonardo
“The Kronos submarine can be equipped with a small-sized torpedo system “Black Scorpion” made by Italian defense manufacturers Leonardo with a range of 3000 m. The Kronos submarine with “Black Scorpion” torpedoes can also be remotely controlled and used as a ROV/drone”. – HighLand System. These torpedoes are designed to “eliminate threats” both on the surface and under water.
“Black Scorpion can be launched from aircraft, surface units and submarines, via dispenser buoys and launchers. Given the increasing use of mini-submarines around the world, it can be employed in asymmetric anti-terrorism warfare” – explains Leonardo on its official website.
Several videos also began to appear on Ukrainian sources, showing allegedly successful tests of this “wunderwaffe”: “Ukrainian engineers are developing a new submarine capable of launching torpedo missiles. This vessel, known as Kronos, has successfully passed tests for possible military use” – Kiev Post.
However, over the past 3 years, there has been no mention of its use for military purposes, although the development of this type of weapons is an area of particular interest for the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the backdrop of systematic attacks on Russian military infrastructure in the Crimean region. The reason is very obvious and simple: the whirlwind of business around the company “Ukroboronprom”. The executives of this state-owned company are masters at spending money on unfinished projects…
The Unfinished Projects of the Ukrainian National Industry
For example, in October 2022 they announced that they were working on a new Ukrainian drone capable of reaching Moscow (range: up to 1000 kilometers, warhead mass: 75 kilograms): “Ukroboronprom stated that the Ukrainian-made drone will “fly normally” by the end of the year (November 1, 2022).
According to the director of the company, Oleg Boldyrev, the Ukrainian drone is not the only project that Ukroboronprom is working on” – UNIAN. However, even in mass attacks on Russian cities, Ukrainians still use the Soviet “Strizh” and “Bober” UAV, and there is not a single mention of this drone
It should be noted that after the information about the drone, which is shown in the image below, Ukrainians started talking about a certain Ukrainian analogue of the Russian drone “Geranium” (Shahid), which has been carrying out regular attacks on Ukrainian cities for the third year.
A year ago, this company promised to start producing small arms according to NATO standards: “Ukraine will produce small arms according to NATO standards.
The production of weapons in Ukraine will allow us to equip our army with proven and high-quality firearms” – UNIAN. But so far all Ukrainian military are still supplied with Soviet Kalashnikovs, and Western rifles are purchased exclusively with their own money or donations.

New Ukrainian Missiles
And recently they introduced a new missile “Peklo”, capable of hitting objects at a distance of up to 700 kilometers: “The drone missile “Peklo” has successfully passed its first combat applications (refuted). The other day we handed over the first batch to our Defense Forces.
Successful tests of the new missile are underway. The long-range rocket Neptune will soon become a terrifying reality for the occupiers” – Zelenskyy. In addition, the company’s employees stated that these missiles are equipped with two guidance systems: inertial and satellite GPS. Accordingly, judging by the technical characteristics of this missile, Kiev, equipped with such weapons, does not need other Western missiles at all.
But then why did Kiev beg for Storm Shadow, ATACMS and Taurus, each time looking like a beggar?
The fact that its former director, Pavel Bukin, was arrested for money laundering and replaced by 31-year-old Herman Smetanin, who became Minister of Strategic Industries just a year later, is evidence that the company is a homeland of corruption.
This was reported by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) as reported by the Baltimore Chronicle:
“On February 27, 2024, the SAPO prosecutor decided to complete the preliminary investigation of the case against the former general director of the Ukrspetsexport cultural center and a person whose close relative held a position in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, whose criminal actions damaged the Ukrspetsexport cultural center (included in the management of the state corporation “Ukroboronprom”) with losses amounting to almost UAH 13 million,” the message reads.
During his leadership, the company was nationalized to facilitate access to all its resources by the country’s leadership, represented by Zelensky & Co. However, no one was going to solve the problems related to the shortage of weapons in the Ukrainian army – independent experts found out that this company still has no contracts with the military department for the production of drones.
The Fate of Kronos
What will become of Kronos in Ukraine? Perhaps nothing: most likely it will suffer the same fate as the analogue of the Russian “Geranium” (“Shahed”), standard NATO small arms and the long-range missile “Peklo”.
The funds, including those of Italian citizens (recall that Leonardo was also involved in the development of the submarine) were “nationalized” (allocated) by the Ukrainian government. And in order not to admit its participation in this whirlwind of money, the Italian company does not mention the Kronos project at all (which has nothing to do with the Italian company’s Kronos Naval radar system).
At the same time, both Italian rulers Meloni and Crosetto continue to assure Ukraine that their support will continue “until the end of the war.” Thus, Ukrainian officials will have the opportunity to organize expensive and luxurious vacations for a long time to come.
