Other Christian Blood in Africa: young seminarian and 3 teachers killed by jihadists
Dear Friends, Do you remember the four seminarians kidnapped on January 8 in Kaduna, Nigeria? If three of them were released after being tortured, the fourth, Michael Nnadi, was killed. He was only 18 years old. In the video (click here to watch it) you see him playing on the piano while his companions sing the Gloria in Hausa. He could not imagine then the tragic fate that would await him only a few weeks later.
But he was certainly aware of the risk he ran of wanting to become a priest in a country, Nigeria, where a thousand Christians were killed only last year. The Nigerian seminarian Michael Nnadi killed at the age of 18 Unfortunately, in these Sanremo days, very few media outlets have spoken of Michael’s brutal murder. But we are sure that you will not remain indifferent to the angelic and clean face of this boy who did not aspire to be the rapper or influencer like so many of his peers in the world, but to serve the Lord and his persecuted community. Let’s not be indifferent! We honor Michael’s memory by supporting many courageous seminarians who in Nigeria, while risking death, pursue the dream of becoming priests. A fraternal greeting,
