«Donald Trump vuole essere in grado di far commettere al Pentagono crimini di guerra e crimini contro l’umanità e farlo in completa immunità e impunità». E’ la brutale dichiarazione con cui Brian Becker, coordinatore nazionale della coalizione Risposta contro la guerra, ha commentato l’ultima inquietante notizia di politica militare che giunge dagli Usa. Il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump ha revocato l’ordine esecutivo sui rapporti pubblici dispost in merito alle vittime civili in attacchi di droni effettuati dalla CIA, così come militari statunitensi. «Il nuovo ordine esecutivo, emesso mercoledì 6 marzo, revoca l’obbligo di rendicontazione introdotto dal presidente Barack Obama nel luglio 2016. L’azione ha richiesto al Direttore dell’intelligence nazionale di rilasciare un riepilogo non classificato degli scioperi degli Stati Uniti contro i terroristi “al di fuori delle zone di ostilità attive” e le valutazioni sulle morti dei non-combattenti causate da quegli attacchi – scrive il network Russia Today – L’ordine esecutivo di Trump ha osservato che il Pentagono ha ancora l’obbligo di riferire sulle vittime civili causate dalle operazioni militari statunitensi, in quanto è stato incaricato dagli Atti di Autorizzazione della Difesa Nazionale del 2018 e 2019». Ma in una dichiarazione a commento della decisione il Consiglio di Sicurezza Nazionale della Casa Bianca ha affermato che l’ordine rimuove i “superflui obblighi di segnalazione” che “distraggono i nostri professionisti dell’intelligence dalla loro missione primaria”».

Il primo a reagire a questa disposizione che getta ombre sugli attacchi dei droni-killer ed i loro eventuali errori di bersaglio è stato l’ex portavoce dell’NSC di Obama, Ned Price, sostenendo che l’obbligo di segnalazione aveva permesso agli Usa di «contrastare la disinformazione da parte di gruppi terroristici con dati sull’efficacia e la precisione delle nostre operazioni». «Annullare i rapporti permetterà al Pentagono di condurre impegni militari senza alcuna “responsabilità”» ha evidenziato il già citato Brian Becker ai reporter di RT, sottolineando che Trump sembra già scommettere su un’immagine “dura” per la campagna 2020. «Queste guerre sono così importanti che non abbiamo davvero bisogno di parlartene» è la trama che Trump sta cercando di spingere ha detto ancora Becker. Come nota Russia Today il programma mirato di droni fu creato durante l’amministrazione di George W. MINACCE USA ALLA TURCHIA PER GLI S-400 RUSSI

Curtis Scaparrotti alla Commissione per i servizi armati del Senato, sostenendo che gli Stati Uniti dovrebbero interrompere il trasferimento di caccia invisibili in Turchia e rinunciare le vendite di altre tecnologie militari al suo alleato della NATO, se Ankara schiererà le armi difensive di fabbricazione russa come previsto a luglio». Il Pentagono ha già minacciato “gravi conseguenze” e di “implicazioni più ampie” a meno che la Turchia non annulli l’acquisto.
