His Holiness, however, not only did not take any action against Cardinals Delpini and Coccopalmerio, but he did not even bother to utter a word about that embarrassing meeting which appears like a genuflection to Lucifer, in memory of the Hymn to Satan composed by the Freemason poet Giosuè Carducci who was among the most fervent supporters of the Risorgimento as a weapon for the destruction of papal power culminating in the Breach of Porta Pia in 1870 and in the subsequent Excommunication of Freemasonry promulgated by Pope Leo XIII in the Encyclical Humanus Genus in which in fact the profile of the New World Order conceived by the “pope” of American Freemasonry Albert Pike – and made current by the writings of George Soros and the ideological progressivism of Bill Gates – has already been outlined.

Monsignor Staglianò maintains that “our fraternity is established on the sacrament of God’s love in Jesus, it is established on the Eucharist, not just on the generic idea of being brothers”. The same reasoning, adds the prelate, can be applied to Christian charity which “has nothing to do with Masonic philanthropy. Christian charity corresponds to the historical event of a God who died and rose again for us and asks his children not only to be philanthropic but to be, possibly, crucified for love”.
The Christian loves the true Light
The president of the Pontifical Academy of Theology highlights the total incompatibility between being Catholic and joining Freemasonry by underlining that “within Freemasonry plots of occult power develop which are in contradiction with Christian action. In short, when we talk about irreconcilability we are referring to profound contradictions. We cannot even appeal to the polar opposition of the theologian Romano Guardini to say that they can be together.”

Mystery versus esotericism
Another important point of distance is esotericism – made up of spiritual doctrines that are often secret and reserved for initiates – which permeates Masonic teachings. “Even in Catholicism – specifies Monsignor Staglianò – we talk about Mystery.
