States that were hit with different intensities include North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are also battered by heavy snowfall.

The fast-moving storm traveling through the Northeast with a ‘dangerous’ combination of snow and sleet has forced hundreds of flights to be canceled as thousands go without power. More than 3,300 flights to, from or within the US were delayed and at least 300 were canceled on Saturday, according to Flight Aware.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has already put 30 million people living from the eastern Rockies and Dakotas to New York City and Boston under weather alerts, with warnings of mixed precipitation and ice accumulations. AccuWeather meteorologists said Friday that the storm, named Garnett, ‘might be the biggest storm of the winter season‘ for portions of the Northeast.

Polar Vortex Split Update: A Breakaway vortex is forecast to move into North America,
«A Stratospheric Warming event is going to start in the coming days. We see a weakening and a split of the Polar Vortex in the forecast, which means the Polar Vortex will be torn into two separate cores. One of these cores is forecast to move over North America, impacting the weather patterns over the United States and Canada in the days and weeks following this event» the specialist website Severe Weather wrote (link in the sources below).
When a Polar Vortex is split in half in the stratosphere, each of the remaining cores moves over a different part of the Hemisphere. That means it brings along a weather change and a supply of cold air into the region. We will focus on the upcoming stratospheric warming event and the Polar Vortex split, with potential winter weather outcomes to follow in February and beyond. But fist, a quick look at what the Polar Vortex really is.
«To keep it simple, the Polar Vortex is just a name that describes the broad winter circulation over the northern (and southern) hemispheres. The Polar Vortex extends from the lower levels and high up into the atmosphere» the website added.
The main takeaway from the video should be that the Polar Vortex is not just one winter storm or a cold outbreak that moves from the Midwest into the eastern United States. It is the entire weather circulation over the Northern Hemisphere.
Tornadoes after Mysterious Northern Lights Similar to HAARP Tests
In reference to the terrible tornadoes that have made the hell of fire in Los Angeles devastating, we have published an analysis on the very strange and exceptional meteorological conditions. Another episode of our series of investigations on the mysterious Northern Lights that between the end of 2023 and New Year’s Eve 2025 were recorded in the Arctic areas and in the Northern Hemisphere.

Tens of millions of people from the Midwest to the East Coast are battling heavy snow as part of a major winter storm that has killed at least four people. Freezing temperatures continued to worsen road conditions, leaving more than 1,000 motorists stranded on a Missouri highway and causing thousands of flight cancellations and delays, American network NBC reported on January 6, 2025.
“Heavy rains and overflowing waterways continue to cause disruption in the United Kingdom. More than a thousand homes and businesses have been flooded and farmland has been damaged. Numerous flood warnings have been issued for Friday, January 5, and some railway lines have been closed. The Midlands region, in Nottinghamshire, is in a state of emergency, where mud and water have covered entire expanses of land,” LaPresse reported on the same day.
Here is yet another suspicious coincidence between the alleged geoengineering of the Northern Lights and disastrous events. Among these are the terrible tornadoes that have aggravated the fires in California…
The Santa Ana Winds in California
“In Los Angeles, California, the fires are advancing relentlessly. Driven by the Santa Ana winds. Elsewhere, however, the worrying factor is the arrival of the second winter storm in as many weeks: it will affect (over) twenty American states, from Maine to Texas. These two extreme weather events, explains Semafor among others, are linked to disturbances in the so-called polar vortex. In other words: experts believe that climate change is the main culprit for what is happening” writes Corriere del Ticino.
Neither scientists nor journalists mention, even as a vague related hypothesis, the dangerous experiments conducted by HAARP right in the Arctic Circle, the origin of the vortex…
The Santa Ana winds (also called “devil’s winds”) are a weather condition in Southern California “in which strong, hot, dust-bearing winds descend from the desert regions inland toward the Pacific coast around Los Angeles,” as explained on the website of NOAA, the American national weather service.
“A condition that is not uncommon in these areas. The problem of these hours is that the gusts have reached a tornado intensity that has not been recorded for more than ten years, with peaks of up to 130 kilometers per hour: the flames move quickly and it is impossible to fly helicopters and Canadairs to extinguish them. Furthermore, such strong winds are considered dangerous because they can cause the fall of pylons and trees with the potential risk of starting the flames” wrote the website of the Italian national TV RAI News.
The hot and dry air currents have blown at speeds never recorded since 2011, increasing the risk of fires in an area that has not received rain for months.
As previously mentioned, the HAARP station works in close collaboration with the US Air Force which at the Los Angeles base develops projects for the use of directed energy as a weapon.
Although two clues do not make a proof, the coincidences are starting to be really too many…

On the next paragraph you mention Johanna Haigh. Is that the expert scientist?
She points out that it might be a matter of trying to compensate for the consequences of global warming but since the first quote about expert scientist only asserts that the effects are unknown, it isnt really an expert. It is a legitimate worry on her part but that doesnt mean the weather will really be affected by the ionization of the extremely thin air in the ionosphere. In order to refer to expertise there ought to be a rational explanation for how the weather at an altitude of a few kms could be manipulated by extremely thin ionised air at an altitude above 90kms
If anybody can explain that to me we would be getting somewhere. Until then it isnt expertise but a seriousminded concerned citisens legitimate worry but nothing more

That is a legitimate standpoint but it doesnt give us any explanation concerning HAARPs effect on the weather
The original inventor of that technology wanted a much larger item something like 4kms wide array and having a power of 5GW. He speculated that it would be possible to create a lens in the sky and somehow focussing the suns radiation to a high intensity spot
Haarp is more like 200m and that means it cannot be tightly foused like the larger array I mentioned. But I dont know how that either could work at all in the ionospheres low molecular density. Perhaps one might use it at much lower altitudes where the particle density is much higher. Creating a hot spot with a high electron density to provoke some weather phenomenon. But if so it wouldnt need to have anything todo with the ionosphere.
A realistic explanation in my view is that they create a higher electron density in the ionosphere and that means that athmospheric layer will be like a mirror for a more extended frequency range than under normal conditios. That means an over the horizon radar may be operated with higher spatial resolution..
The scientists do use the expression space weather but that isnt the usual meaning
of weather. And it doesnt mean there is any effect on the weather closer to the ground.
I would like to see any rational explanation for such fears. Otherwhice it is like superstition.
HAARP types of antenna arrays have been shown to be used on ships. In that case the antennas were slightly fatter I think indicating that they were to carry stronger currents and therefore more powerful signals were to be used. That makes sense if the application is to create over the horizon radar as well as 3D radar. The Soviets used a related antenna powered by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The signals were called woodpecker since the shortwaveband had that kind of disturbing noise. The Soviets used it for spotting cruismissiles. Lowflying so they had to bounce the signal beteween the ionosphere and the ground multiple times to see them
