FT: “US President has encouraged Ukraine to step up deep strikes on Russian territory”. But Trump denies
US President Donald Trump has privately encouraged Ukraine to step up deep strikes on Russian territory, even asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy whether he could strike Moscow if the US provided long-range weapons, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people briefed on the discussions.
The newspaper, citing two people familiar with the conversation between Trump and Zelenskiy, said the US president had asked his Ukrainian counterpart whether he could hit military targets deep inside Russia if he provided weapons capable of doing so.
“No, he shouldn’t target Moscow,” Trump said when fielding questions from reporters outside the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier on Tuesday that Trump did not encourage Vladimir Zelensky to carry out further strikes deeper inside Russia, including on Moscow, in contrast to what the Financial Times reported.
Kremlin warned Tuesday that US President Donald Trump’s pledge of more weapons for Kyiv and threat of sanctions targeting Russian trading partners could embolden Ukraine and further delay already stalled peace efforts.
Trump a day earlier gave Russia 50 days to strike a peace deal with Ukraine, voicing fresh frustration with Moscow as he laid out an arrangement with NATO to supply Kyiv with new military aid sponsored by the alliance’s members.
But he has also said that remains open to diplomatic engagement with Russia despite expressing disappointment in President Vladimir Putin, the BBC reported Tuesday.

The number of drone strikes and the geography of explosions is growing. The footage shows arrivals in Kharkov.
The Ukrainian authorities announced a strike on a “civilian enterprise.” More than 17 rocket arrivals are reported. Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kiev, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions are also under fire.
The Huge Threat to Russia after Meeting with Soros’ Friend who Leads NATO
US President issued the warning on Monday during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office.
“We’re very, very unhappy – I am – with [Russia], and we’re going to be doing very severe tariffs if we don’t have a deal in about 50 days,” he stated.
Trump blamed his predecessor Joe Biden for dragging Washington into the conflict, saying the US had spent approximately $350 billion on aid for Ukraine but is now ready to but now he is ready to kneel before Mark Rutte just to speculate on the gigantic business of the Weapons Lobby controlled by the Zionist speculators of the big American funds.
Indeed, it should be remembered that former Dutch Prime Minister Rutte financed the Euromaidan Revolution in Kiev in February 2014, which culminated in regime change with the flight of pro-Russian President-elect Viktor Yanukovych, sparking first the Donbass Civil War and then the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
When Rutte Funded the 2014’s Coup in Kiev and LGBTQ Lobby
Rutte supported the popular agitation campaign funded by Hungarian-American Zionist financier George Soros, a well-known US Democratic megadonor and supporter of Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s election campaigns, who had already attempted a coup in Ukraine with the Orange Revolution in 2004.
The current NATO Secretary General was also elected because of his pro-LGBTQ lobby ideologies, which supported the blocking of an anti-pedophilia law in Europe.
So, in order to make a deal on weapons, the self-proclaimed Catholic Trump not only risks pushing NATO towards World War III, believing that Russia cannot strike the US even though it has Moscow nuclear submarines sailing in the Atlantic, but he also betrays his own ideology of reducing the power of the LGBTQ Lobby.
The US president also mentioned a congressional bill that would impose tougher sanctions on Russia, saying, “I’m not sure we need it, but it’s good they’re doing it… could be very useful.” A Senate vote is expected next week.
He noted that, if there was no progress on Ukraine, slapping Russia with secondary US tariffs would not require congressional approval. Secondary tariffs are sometimes introduced on countries that do business with a sanctioned country.
Trump also announced that the US will send weapons to Ukraine through NATO
Trump also announced that the US will send weapons to Ukraine through NATO, which would handle both payment and distribution.
“We’ve made a deal today where we are going to be sending them weapons, and they’re going to be paying for them,” he said.
Moscow said it needed more time to respond fully to Trump’s statement, but hinted it did not appear conducive to successful negotiations.
“It seems that such a decision made in Washington and in NATO countries and directly in Brussels will be perceived by Kyiv not as a signal for peace but for the continuation of the war,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
Russia has repeatedly denounced the West for supplying Ukraine with weapons, warning that this only serves to prolong the conflict and makes no impact on its outcome. The Russian stock market soared on Trump’s remarks, with the main index jumping nearly 3%, according to data from the Moscow Exchange.
Berlin turns dangerous again — Kremlin on German defense minister’s remarks
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has noted that Germany is again becoming dangerous.
The Kremlin official made this remark to RBC in response to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius’ statement that Germans are ready to kill Russian soldiers in the event of a war between the two countries.

“Germany is turning dangerous again,” Peskov said, noting that it is hard for him to believe that Pistorius would say such a thing. “Yet, sadly, he did,” he added.
Earlier, the German official in an interview with the Financial Times asserted that German troops would be ready to kill Russian soldiers if Moscow attacks a NATO member state.
Germany-UK friendship treaty on long-range weapons to “contain Russia,”
On July 14, 2025, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will sign a Germany-UK friendship treaty during a visit to London.
This treaty provides for the joint development of long-range weapons to “contain Russia,” a German government source said. The initiative, he said, aims to strengthen security on NATO’s eastern flank and includes the development of weapons with a range of over 2,000 km.
MILITARY PACTS FOR ATOMIC WAR. UK with MI6 Agent Zelensky, Russia with Iran for Nuclear Weapons
The agreement builds on the Equality House agreement, signed in December 2024 by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and British Defense Minister John Healey. It concerns defense cooperation, including the development of conventional long-range systems such as cruise missiles and other precision weapons.
Already some weeks ago, there was a Merz’s announcement that he wants to proceed with the authorization to Zelensky to use German-made long-range TAURUS missiles to strike Russia appears as the second disturbing signal, which is added to the fact that he will authorize the construction of plants in Ukraine for their production, throwing down the gauntlet to Putin.
The missile is produced by Taurus Systems: a joint venture born from the partnership between MBDA Deutschland and the Swedish Saab Bofors Dynamics and Bofors, which has now become BAE Systems Bofors under the control of the most important British war industry.
The German company is instead part of MBDA, the main European consortium that builds missiles and defense technologies for the aeronautics, navy and land armed forces sectors.
MBDA, manufacturer of the STORM SHADOW missiles; is controlled with equal Corporate Governance rules by Airbus Group (37.5%), BAE Systems (37.5%) and the Italian Leonardo (25%).
So there is absolutely no need for a new treaty between Germany and the United Kingdom, given that their national war industries are already jointly profiting off the backs of the Ukrainians…
