Just days before his high-stakes Alaska meeting with Trump, Putin is making a powerful statement at sea.
Russia’s massive nuclear-powered battlecruiser, the Admiral Nakhimov, is returning after a two-decade overhaul, armed with hypersonic Zircon missiles.
Moscow is also preparing new tests for its feared 9M730 Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile, boasting unlimited range. This move comes after Trump deployed two nuclear submarines near Russia, escalating tensions.

A security bubble of nearly 50 kilometers will surround the Elmendorf Richardson military base in Anchorage, Alaska, today. Not only that, but the airspace on the ground will be closed. The entire zone is under lockdown.
