A book by Frederic Baldan, the man who had the courage to denounce von der Leyen over the Pfizergate scandal, is being published in Italy. With this book, he names a dense network of shady interests that govern the main European institution, leading all the way to Bill Gates.
Frédéric Baldan, a Belgian of Italian origin, is a professional lobbyist—or rather, used to be—a lobbyist, someone who promotes the interests of a company or sector in legislative, political, and institutional settings. A difficult profession due to its potential ethical implications, but useful, and even legitimate, if carried out in the open, since it is better for the defense of certain interests to be open and regulated in a serious and verifiable manner, rather than conducted in the shadows with all that entails.
Baldan was an aeronautics industry lobbyist at the European Union, and as a serious person, he carried out his job, respecting the Commission’s supposedly very strict rules. Then, however, one day everything changed. He realized that those rules do not apply to everyone because, in recent years, amidst the silence of the media and the widespread acquiescence of MEPs, the European institutions themselves have increasingly transformed into an incoherent, nonchalant caste, complacent in its own immense power, demanding from others compliance with rules it itself betrays with chilling ease and cynicism.
And the one who takes this double standard to unprecedented levels is, first and foremost, the one who should shine in the light of transparency and fairness: the current President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.When, following the Covid crisis, Baldan realizes this reality, the shock—for a staunch Europeanist like he has always been—is enormous. The Dark Side of Powerful Lobbies and Intelligence Services

Inspired by his awakening, lobbyist Baldan, in the first part of the book, exposes the dark side of the world he has coexisted with for many years…
That of the most powerful lobbies, which unfolds within national and especially international institutions such as the UN, WHO, and the EU itself, large multinationals, bogus philanthropic activities, apparently neutral think tanks and think tanks, intelligence services, and extraordinarily powerful bodies such as the World Economic Forum or the Council on Foreign Relations. And he does so with extraordinary precision, documenting all his assertions and deductions.
Baldan’s analysis enriches the existing literature on global governance and the crisis of representative democracy, as it is the testimony of an insider in a sector, lobbying, that does not conceive of dissenting voices and which, in its strongest expressions, makes professional silence a significant characteristic.
Few, however, expose the dark side of their profession. Baldan, however, has broken the taboo, describing from the inside and with extraordinary precision the techniques of power management, as only an (awakened) lobbyist can. And he has paid a very high price, personally, because the European Union has frozen his lobbyist accreditation, thus preventing him from continuing to carry out his work in Brussels.
The Black Holes of the International Elite
The book’s underlying theme is, of course, Ursula von der Leyen, whose life the author reconstructs while simultaneously revealing the ambiguities and black holes of the international elite she represents; a world to which the first part of the essay is dedicated.
The author explains, with a wealth of detail and citations, how, why, and where the decisions are actually made that countries, the business community, and individual citizens are forced to conform to, without the possibility of dialogue or participation in the decision-making process. He names names but—and this is a very important point—he does not start from a prejudice or seek confirmation of his own convictions, as other authors do, consciously or unconsciously, but rather seeks and finds confirmation, truly seeking the truth.
And what he discovers outrages him to the point that he cannot contain an angry sarcasm toward the woman who becomes the protagonist and emblem of the ethical and value-based decline of the current European Union: Ursula von der Leyen.
Frédéric Baldan, followed and then supported by other associations, filed a criminal complaint against the President of the European Commission, starting with the incredible affair of the purchases of Covid vaccines arranged via text message with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, documenting with extraordinary precision the violations, both formal and substantive.
And the fact that his complaints have so far failed to lead to any real trials only reinforces his heartfelt analysis, demonstrating how the judiciary in Europe, as well as the various high-profile oversight bodies, are deaf, blind, and mute when it comes to examining violations involving European leaders.
This is the logic of a class that conceals, covers up, and distorts the interpretation of the rules the EU itself has established, even in defiance of the much-vaunted separation of powers. What a separation! What emerges from these pages is evidence of an unacceptable ambiguity in the relationships between von der Leyen, the European Commission, the judiciary, the regulatory bodies, as well as large international economic groups, think tanks, lobby groups, and, of course, the media, guilty of professional negligence. This magma, of which most European voters are unaware, demonstrates the vacuity of the continental institutions and the rules that should protect us.
No Regard for the Common Good and the Protection of the Population
How can we Europeans claim to be better than the many undemocratic regimes that populate the international community, if the facts reveal that our societies are governed by oligarchies that act above the law, rules, and common sense, with no regard for the Common Good or the protection of the population? In this book, you will find evidence of how the health of hundreds of millions of people has been deliberately endangered in the Covid era, prioritized not only by business considerations but also by how perceptual and media manipulation are the norm in Brussels’s management of public opinion.
The Ursula Gates revealed
Many of you will be shocked to learn that it was Bill Gates who, several years ago, helped the Chinese government create and implement the horrific “social credit” system, which allows for the digital control of all citizens and the exclusion from civil society of those who do not align with the regime’s expectations.
And it’s not just suspicion: Baldan has tracked down the videos in which Chinese President Xi Jinping publicly thanks the Microsoft founder. And you’ll discover a lot about the man who today dresses up as a philanthropist who wants to save humanity but in reality cultivates, and conceals, colossal interests, including personal ones.
The title of the essay is deliberately plural—not UrsulaGate but UrsulaGates—because von der Leyen’s affairs involve not only scandals like the purchase of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, but also, indeed, Bill Gates’s “sleight of hand.”
You’ll discover that Ursula von der Leyen had accommodations created for herself inside the European Commission headquarters, the Berlaymont, unlike her predecessors, who rented ordinary Brussels apartments.
This eccentricity is likely not entirely innocent, since accommodation inside a European institution automatically entails the acquisition of diplomatic immunity, barring any searches by investigating authorities. And it’s shocking to learn that the European Commission had the evidence to approve simple, inexpensive, yet highly effective treatments for Covid, yet deliberately ignored it in order to present an experimental vaccine as the only viable solution to the crisis.
It’s no surprise that in France this book was ignored by the mainstream media and blocked by several bookstores. It’s a true book, written by an author who thus compromised his professional career, driven by the desire to truly honor the values of justice, authenticity of democracy, and altruism in which he believes with all his heart. And in which we continue to believe, too.
