«An Iranian missile struck the city of Arad in the southern occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday evening, killing at least 8 settlers and injuring around 100 others in what Israeli media has described as the deadliest single strike since the beginning of the war» Al Mayadeen Libanese TV has just reported.
The missile, identified by some Israeli media platforms as a Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missile carrying a half-ton warhead, scored a direct hit on a residential area of Arad, with Israeli outlets saying the strike was “a failure of the air defense system.” (watch the shocking video below)
While journalists initially focused on the attack on Dimona, as it was home to a major nuclear power plant, the most devastating IRGC attack turned out to be the one on Arad.
Up to 20 buildings were damaged at the impact site, with at least one Israeli platform reporting that an entire neighbourhood was “completely destroyed”.
A state of emergency was declared across the city, with 1,300 rescue workers and firefighters deployed to the scene. The Israeli army’s rescue unit was mobilised in response to the “very large number of casualties,” and Magen David Adom issued a public appeal urging citizens to head to hospitals and donate blood.
While the preliminary official toll stands at 8 killed and around 100 injured, at least one Israeli media platform has reported at least 20 killed and more than 200 injured.
With fears remaining over a large number of missing persons still trapped under the rubble, the death toll is widely expected to rise. The Israeli Home Front Command also issued an update suspending all schooling across the occupied territories on Sunday.

A veritable missile storm! The first videos arriving from the city of Dimona are truly disturbing, even for us, who have seen hundreds of them since Zionist criminals Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, and Donald Trump, President of the United States, launched this suicidal war against Iran, violating every single rule of international law, and doing so while Tehran was negotiating a decent nuclear deal for the Americans.
Today, nuclear facilities have been the primary targets of both opposing armies.
First, the US Air Force attacked the Iranian uranium enrichment facility with GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator “bunker buster” bombs from its bombers, perhaps also launched from the military base in the Indian Ocean of Diego Garcia, which was targeted the other night by the IRGC with two long-range missiles.
Then the Islamic Republic’s Pasdaran launched a devastating revenge attack on the cities of Arad and Dimona, in the Negev Desert, located in southern Israel and home to a vital nuclear research facility.

Video footage released by Al Matadeen and News-Pravda shows missiles raining down with devastating explosions. Israel’s Iron Dome defense system appears to be completely ineffective due to a shortage of rockets, although the Israel Defense Forces has denied this.
This is the first time Iran has attacked a residential area on such a massive scale. The provisional toll stands at 51 injured, including some seriously in Dimona.

According to the reports, the latest missile barrage caused damage across parts of Dimona, with impacts reported in multiple locations.
Israeli outlets also confirmed that, in addition to structural collapses, a gas storage tank in the area was hit, raising concerns over a potential leak.
«Israeli media further stated that military helicopters landed at a helipad in Dimona to evacuate the wounded. Meanwhile, Iranian state television said that Iran had targeted Dimona in response to the Israeli aggression on the Natanz nuclear facility» Al Matadeen added.
Iran declares missile dominance
The commander of the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, announced on Saturday evening that “from this moment, Iran declares missile dominance over the skies of the occupied territories.”
He warned that “the skies over the southern occupied territories will remain lit for hours tonight,” and that “new tactics and launch systems to be used in upcoming waves will instil fear among Zionist and American leaders.”
A senior Iranian political and security official told Al Mayadeen that Iran is implementing a pre-prepared, multi-phase plan in its defensive war against US-Israeli aggression, emphasizing that the strategy was developed months in advance and is being carried out with “high strategic patience”, according to Al Mayadeen.
The official stated that after targeting and destroying American and Israeli air defense systems and radar infrastructure across the region, Iran has now established “full control” over the Israeli entity’s airspace.
A look at the map published by Al Jazeera a few days ago shows that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps struck strategic targets such as military bases and oil facilities, most of which had already been evacuated, causing a very low number of deaths as collateral damage.
While the US and especially Israeli bombings are aimed at destroying homes, terrorizing the population, and causing hundreds of deaths to incite a popular uprising against the government, like the Kiev Regime did in Ukraine War: President Volodymyr Zelensky is similarly attempting, without any success, by targeting Russian border regions with NATO cruise missiles.
Iran’s two ominous military warnings to the West
So on the 22nd day of the war, two extremely important signals came from Iran:
- We can hit targets up to 4,000 kilometers away, as demonstrated by the two missiles launched against the US-UK base on Diego Garcia just after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer had authorized their use for military operations by American bombers.
- We can devastate every city in Israel and its allies, just as the Zionist army is doing, but we have not yet done so to avoid an escalation.
Immediately after suffering Iranian retaliation in Dimona and Arad, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that it had not conducted any attack against the Natanz uranium enrichment facility in Iran and could not comment on American activities in the context of the war.

Following the strike, the country’s National Nuclear Safety System Center carried out technical assessments to evaluate the possibility of radioactive contamination at the site. Authorities confirmed that no radioactive materials were released.

Iranian state media: Closure of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait (Red Sea) if the US occupies Kharg
Any US aggression on Kharg Island could provoke a response “unprecedented” in scale, surpassing recent regional surprises over the past three weeks, Tasnim reported, citing a military source.
