Tucker Carlson has urged Calls to the US military and Pentagon officials
Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has publicly urged the US military and Pentagon officials to actively defy US President Donald Trump and refuse orders if he attempts to launch nuclear weapons against Iran.
In a The Tucker Carlson Show episode released on April 7, Carlson warned that the administration is “completely out of control” and that the logic of escalation in the US-Israeli war on Iran is leading toward an unimaginable catastrophe.
“It is the logic of escalation in this war,” Carlson said. “Unless somebody puts the brakes on right away, we’re going to wind up in a place that we can’t even imagine. Not just Iran, us and the rest of the world.”

Direct call to defy the president Trump
Carlson directed his message to staff and troops serving in the White House and the US military.
“If you work in the White House or in the US military, now is the time to say, no, absolutely not. Say it directly to the president, no,” he said.
He specifically addressed the possibility of using weapons of mass destruction, i.e., nuclear bombs, against the Iranian population.
“If you’re thinking about using some weapon of mass destruction against the population of Iran, in whose name we liberated Iran,”Carlson claimed.
“Those people who are in direct contact with the president need to say, no, I’ll resign. I’ll do whatever I can do legally to stop this because this is insane.”

The White House has denied that it has any plans to use nuclear weapons against Iran as a deadline imposed by President Donald Trump for Tehran to make a deal or face a massive onslaught looms.
The denial from Washington came on Tuesday, as the president employed apocalyptic language. Insisting that Iran capitulate to his demands, Trump warned that a “whole civilisation will die tonight”.
Al Jazeera: “Israel may be planning to attack with a tactical nuke, expert warns”
Sultan Barakat, a professor of public policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, has warned that Israeli and US rhetoric suggests Israel could be planning a nuclear attack.
“I think there may be a surprise for everyone, such as a tactical nuclear attack by Israel in a limited way, just to allow Israel to come out as a nuclear power,” Barakat told Al Jazeera.
“This aligns with the wording that Trump has been using – that this is going to be a ‘big surprise’, ‘killing civilisation’ – that sort of rhetoric,” he said.
Israel has never officially acknowledged possessing nuclear weapons, yet it is widely understood that the country maintains a nuclear capability.
“They’ve had [nuclear capabilities] and they’ve been using it as a form of deterrence, but that did not work. They ultimately got attacked – and attacked severely – by Iran, and this was not the first time,” Barakat said.
Tactical nuclear weapons pack less explosive power and are designed for battlefield use.
