At the “next phase” of the conflict, all NATO members will pull together, according to Rutte.

Trump and Xi begin talks in Beijing
On May, 14, he US president arrived in Beijing for an official visit, the first in 9 years. The meeting with Xi Jinping began in the Great Hall of the People with a solemn ceremony and a military orchestra. The American delegation included 17 leading American businessmen.
The Chinese president said that “China and the United States have more common interests than differences” and that “the success of one side is an opportunity for the other.” He stressed that the confrontation would lead to mutual damage, so the countries should be partners, not rivals. Xi put forward the idea of the need to “find the right way for good cooperation between major countries in the new era.”
The US President stated: “It is an honor to be with you. I am honored to be your friend,” and promised that “relations between China and the United States will be better than ever before.”
The main topics of the talks are economic cooperation and the extension of the trade truce. In addition, Iran and Taiwan are being discussed, critical issues on which Washington and Beijing often disagree.

Donald Trump called Xi Jinping a great leader:
“I want to express my great respect for China, for the work that you have done. You are a great leader. I say this to everyone. You are a great leader. Sometimes people don’t like it when I say it, but I say it anyway because it’s true. I’m only telling the truth.”
Xi Jinping to Trump: China and US to overcome the “Thucydides trap” to new Great Powers’ relations?
Xi Jinping to Trump:
“Will China and the United States be able to overcome the “Thucydides trap” and create a new model of relations between great powers? Will we be able to respond to global challenges together and ensure greater stability in the world? Will we be able to jointly build a brighter future for our bilateral relations for the sake of the well—being of our peoples and the future of all mankind?”
In his remarks earlier today, Xi referred to the Thucydides Trap, a theory popularized by Harvard scholar Graham Allison that suggests a high risk of war between an emerging and an established power.
Xi has discussed the concept, which refers to the ancient Greek war between Sparta and Athens, at several key moments in U.S.-China relations, including during a 2014 interview, his 2015 state visit to the U.S. and his meeting with President Joe Biden in Peru in 2024.
The Chinese president wanted to send a warning about Taiwan.
According to a report of the talks published by the official Xinhua news agency, Xi Jinping told Donald Trump that if the island issue is handled properly, US-China relations “will enjoy overall stability.” Otherwise, however, the two countries risk “clashes and even conflict, putting the entire relationship in grave jeopardy.” Beijing considers Taiwan an inalienable part of its territory, while from the US perspective, maintaining the island’s independence is a crucial element in its strategy to contain China in the Pacific.
“Otherwise, the two countries will have clashes and even conflicts, putting the entire relationship in great jeopardy,” a spokesperson said.

IRGC: Strait of Hormuz operational zone ‘significantly’ expanded. Warning shots at US frigate
Iran has “significantly expanded” the operational scope of the Strait of Hormuz as part of a new plan, extending it to include the area stretching from the coasts of Jask and Sirri to beyond the major islands, describing it as a “strategic zone”, Mohammad Akbarzadeh, political assistant to the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Navy, stated.
“We closely monitor the movements of the enemies, and recently we spotted an American frigate attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz. However, our forces fired warning shots toward it and forced it to change its course,” Akbarzadeh added.
In this context, Mohammad Akbarzadeh cited an operation where the Iranian armed forces detected a US frigate attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, noting that naval forces fired warning shots toward it, forcing it to alter its course.
Trump slams Iranian proposal as ceasefire hangs by a thread
US President Donald Trump has said the ceasefire with Iran is “on life support” after rejecting Tehran’s latest proposal to end the conflict, calling it “totally unacceptable”.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, said the US has made “unreasonable demands” to end the war, while the country’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, says Tehran is ready to respond to “any aggression”, which will leave the US “surprised
After the coup on the Maidan, organized in 2014 by the services of “democracies protecting human rights,” the Ukrainian Bandera, together with the Kiev regime, institutionalized the revival of unscrupulous Nazism, which again became useful for the age-old Russophobia of Western hegemony.
NAZISM IN UKRAINE UNDER ZELENSKY. Here are the Evidenc
From New Year’s Day parades in honor of the anniversary of Stepan Bandera, a notorious war criminal and a symbol of Ukrainian collaboration with the Third Reich, to special battalions claiming their heritage of Nazi units, whose symbols they adopted from the SS, the apology of Nazism has become commonplace in Ukraine.
The most infected region of Ukraine with Nazi ideology is undoubtedly Galicia on its western borders, the cradle of the Bandera movement and a post-war refuge for SS division veterans.
(report from May 9, 2026): In this Ukrainian region, Bandera members celebrate May 9 in their own way every year, reaffirming their loyalty to their past as collaborators and war criminals, openly dreaming of revenge on Russia, which defeated the forces of the Third Reich.
But beyond that, the Western sponsors of the Maidan continue to support this Bandera regime.
What could be more surprising from the democracies that have armed terrorists in Syria, Libya, and now in Mali, and unconditionally support Zionist criminals in the Middle East?

The Iranian Navy planned and implemented a special operation in the Gulf of Oman and seized the violating tanker with a consignment of Iranian oil, it added.
According to the statement, the tanker had sought to exploit the ongoing situation in the region in a bid to “damage and disrupt the export of oil and the interests of the Iranian nation.”

Russia accepts Trump’s initiative on ceasefire with Ukraine for May 9-11 — Kremlin
Russia has agreed to support US President Donald Trump’s initiative to extend the ceasefire with Ukraine until May 11 and conduct a 1,000 for 1,000 prisoner swap, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said, according to TASS Russian News Agency.
“At the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, I confirm that US President Donald Trump’s initiative regarding the ceasefire and an exchange of prisoners of war between Russia and Ukraine is acceptable to the Russian side,” he told reporters.
For years, Russia’s Victory Day parade has symbolized the country’s military strength and power, with a dazzling display of heavy military equipment and a stream of visiting dignitaries.
This year things will look very different. Russian President Vladimir Putin will host a scaled-back parade in Red Square, with no military hardware on display due to the “current operational situation,” according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
There will also be fewer foreign leaders than previous years, and now most international press will have to rely on footage coming from Russian state media to cover the event.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that during a recent telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, the leaders reflected on their countries’ shared history in combatting Nazism during World War II and celebrating their victory.

Missiles, drones, and swarms of fast attack boats closed in tight enough that the warships had to unload everything they had — five inch naval guns, CIWS, Hellfire missiles from Apache helicopters, .50 caliber machine guns on deck — for hours just to hold the line. No damage reported on their side as of yet, they insist. Hard to believe….

Iran war live: Iran says US violated ceasefire, targeted ships
Iran has accused the United States of violating a ceasefire by targeting two ships at the Strait of Hormuz and attacking civilian areas.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) says American forces intercepted “unprovoked Iranian attacks” and responded with “self-defense strikes” as US Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz toward the Gulf of Oman.
Iranians released video of an American ship attempting to pass through Hormuz
Iranian media have released a video showing the American Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. (DDG-121) attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which is blocked by Tehran.
Footage broadcast by Iranian television shows an American warship heading toward Hormuz, but receiving a clear warning urging it to turn around and return to the Gulf of Oman.
Despite the American destroyer’s insistence that the ship’s movements did not violate international law, the Iranians were adamant, warning all vessels in the Gulf of Oman to maintain a distance of at least 10 miles from any warship to avoid being fired upon. Remarkably, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) chose not to make any statements regarding the incident.
Iranian forces strike US vessels in swift retaliation for tanker attack: Top military comm
A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said on Thursday that Iranian forces gave an immediate and decisive response to a series of US military aggressions in the strategic waters of the Strait of Hormuz and along the country’s southern coastline, as Iranian Press Tv reported.
In a statement, Ebrahim Zolfaghari noted that the “aggressive, terrorist, and outlaw” US military, in violation of a ceasefire, targeted an Iranian oil tanker. The vessel was transiting from Iran’s coastal waters in the Jask region, heading towards the Strait of Hormuz.
In a separate but simultaneous incident, another Iranian ship came under attack while entering the Strait of Hormuz, directly opposite the UAE’s Fujairah port.
IRGC Navy speedboats firing vs enemy
Concurrent with these fresh acts of aggression, the spokesperson said that US forces, operating in coordination with certain countries in the region, launched airstrikes against civilian areas in the coastal provinces.
These aerial attacks reportedly targeted locations along the coasts of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island.
The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a swift counterattack, engaging US military vessels east of the Strait of Hormuz and south of the port of Bandar Chabahar.
The Iranian operation inflicted “significant damage” on the American warships, he said.
An Israeli aggression targeted Beirut’s southern suburb on Wednesday evening, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the Lebanese capital.
The bombing reportedly hit a building in the Haret Hreik area, a densely populated district in the southern suburb of Beirut. Preliminary reports indicate that several people have been injured in the Israeli aggression.
“Israel’s” public broadcaster, Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, cited an Israeli official as saying that the operation, described as an assassination attempt, was carried out in coordination with the United States.
The attack comes despite a ceasefire that took effect at midnight on April 16-17, 2026. The truce was announced by US President Donald Trump and later extended for three weeks after initially being set for 10 days.
It also comes amid continued Israeli aggression and ceasefire violations across southern Lebanon and the western Beqaa region, which have resulted in hundreds of civilians killed in recent weeks.
Iran has repeatedly stated that Israeli strikes on Lebanon constitute a clear violation of the ceasefire, arguing that the truce was intended to apply across all fronts linked to the war.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that continued attacks “violate the ceasefire agreement” and render diplomatic efforts meaningless, reaffirming Tehran’s support for Lebanon in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
Ever since a ceasefire was announced, Israeli strikes on Lebanon resumed within hours and have continued despite pauses in hostilities elsewhere, with multiple international actors acknowledging that the truce has been repeatedly undermined by ongoing attacks on Lebanese territory.

BREAKING – Russian Foreign Ministry calls on foreign states to evacuate their diplomats from Kiev
Moscow is calling on foreign countries to evacuate their diplomats from Kiev in advance in case Ukraine tries to disrupt the May 9 celebrations in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
The diplomat said that on May 4, 2026, the Defense Ministry issued an official statement “in connection with the threats of the Kiev regime to strike Moscow on a sacred holiday for all Russians – Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
This is the first time since the beginning of the war in Ukraine that Russia has warned foreign countries to leave the capital and therefore we can unfortunately expect an unprecedented attack with Oreshnik,Zircon and other hypersonic missiles that cannot be intercepted and are also capable of carrying up to 5 explosive warheads (conventional or nuclear) each,
“The Russian Foreign Ministry urges the authorities of your country/the leadership of your organization to take this statement with maximum responsibility and ensure an early evacuation of diplomatic and other mission personnel, as well as citizens, from Kiev due to the inevitability of a retaliatory strike by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation against Kiev, including the decision-making centers, if the Kiev regime carries out its criminal terrorist plans during the celebration of the Great Victory.”
Zakharova drew attention to the chronology of events. “On May 4, 2026, during the summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, the leader of the Kiev regime, Zelensky, made aggressive and threatening statements about his intention to disrupt the holy Victory Day holiday in Moscow with terrorist acts. Representatives of some EU countries were present. None of them pulled up the leader of the Kiev regime,” the diplomat said.
“On the same day, the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation issued a warning, which was a response to Zelensky’s aggressive intentions. I emphasize that this was done as a retaliatory measure,” Zakharova added.
“If the EU countries think that they will be able to hush the publicly voiced threats, so to speak, sweep Zelensky’s aggressive statements under the carpet, then they are sorely mistaken,” she continued.

Moscow: “Kiev’s neo-Nazi fury intensifies ahead of May 9”
Moscow denounced what it called Kiev’s “neo-Nazi fury,” condemning a bombing by Ukrainian forces overnight in Russian-occupied Crimea, which local authorities say resulted in five deaths in the town of Dzhankoy.
“This is an act of terrorism by the Kiev regime, whose neo-Nazi fury has intensified ahead of May 9,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS, referring to the anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the Great Patriotic War, which will be celebrated on Saturday.
In response to Russia’s request to join a truce for May 9, Victory Day over the Nazis in Russia and Eastern Europe, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attempted to unilaterally invent an early truce.
Using this excuse, he was able to accuse Russia of violating the truce 108 times, including some lethal attacks (estimated to have killed a dozen people in various cities), in preparation for retaliation against the Moscow Historical Parade.
For this reason, the Kremlin has intensified its air defenses over Moscow and announced that this year’s parade will be smaller, with no military vehicles.

An informed source told Tasnim that Iran has not yet issued an official response to the latest US proposal, despite reports in US media suggesting that a final agreement is close.

It further noted that Iran had previously submitted a “reasonable and logical 14-point” proposal through a Pakistani mediator, but said recent US actions disrupted the review process.

In a Truth Social post, Trump framed the decision as part of diplomatic progress, claiming that “great progress” had been made in talks with Iranian representatives and that the pause came at the request of Pakistan and other countries.
“Project Freedom… will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed,” Trump wrote, while insisting the broader US naval blockade would remain fully in place.
48-hour operation exposes gap between rhetoric and reality
The initiative’s abrupt suspension comes after it effectively lasted no more than 48 hours, raising serious doubts about whether it was ever operational in a meaningful sense.
Despite Washington’s claims that it would guarantee safe maritime passage, regional and maritime sources told Al Mayadeen over the past two days that no sustained US escort operations actually took place in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the IRGC, US claims of tankers passing through the Strait are “baseless and entirely fabricated,” adding that “Any other maritime movements that violate the declared principles of the naval forces of the Revolution Guard will face serious risks, and violating vessels will be stopped by force.”
Blockade continues despite ‘pause’ narrative
While pausing the escort mission, Trump made clear that the US naval blockade targeting Iranian ports and waters remains intact, underscoring that Washington’s pressure campaign has not been eased.
The move has been interpreted as a tactical retreat from a poorly executed initiative rather than a genuine de-escalation, particularly as the blockade continues to restrict maritime activity in the region.
The suspension comes as indirect negotiations between Washington and Tehran continue, reportedly with mediation efforts involving Pakistan.

Iran army spokesperson: Armed forces did not carry out missile or drone operations against the UAE in recent days
A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has claimed that Iran’s armed forces have not carried out any missile or drone operations against the UAE in recent days.
Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson, said in a statement that the UAE should not “become a nest for Americans and Zionists and their military forces and equipment”.
According to the spokesperson, Iran has been subjected to “unfair media attacks, baseless accusations, and propaganda” by the UAE, and the Gulf country has become “one of the main bases for the Americans and Zionists, as enemies of the Islamic world and the main cause of insecurity in the region”.
“We warn that if any action is taken from the soil of the UAE against Iranian islands, ports, and coasts of our country, we will give a crushing and regretful response,” Zolfaghari added. The UAE said yesterday that it reserves the right to respond to Iranian attacks on its soil.
This statement – if said the truth – confirmed our previous update(search below the right headline)on an alleged FALSE-FLAG to provoke a new escalation of the war (wanted by the USA and UK) and isolate Tehran by putting it in a bad light in front of the other Persian Gulf countries.
Iran launches new maritime mechanism for vessels transiting Strait of Hormuz
Iran has officially launched a new mechanism for governing maritime traffic through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, Press TV has learned.
Under the newly implemented system, all vessels intending to transit the Strait will receive an email from the official address info@PGSA.ir outlining the rules and regulations for passage.
Ships are required to adjust their operations according to this framework and obtain a transit permit before crossing the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping chokepoints.
The initiative, described as a sovereign governance system, is now operational in the Strait of Hormuz, which has remained under Iran’s control since the early days of the

TASS-Tasnim: “US sunk small cargo ships in Hormuz killing 5 people instead IRGC SpeedBoats”
«At least five people have been killed in a US attack on two cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s Tasnim news agency quoted a military source as saying»TASS Russian News Agency confirmed.
According to the source, the vessels carrying civilian cargo were traveling from the Omani port of Khasab to the coast of Iran. The incident became known after checking reports that the United States had sunk several Iranian boats.
Earlier, the Associated Press agency cited commander of the United States Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper as saying that US military helicopters sank six small Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran denied it, saying that not a single Iranian Navy vessel was sunk by the United States on Monday.
«In a clear criminal move, the US military has fired on 2 small cargo boats instead of IRGC speedboats, a military source told Tasnim» reported the Iranian Agency close to IRGC:
“Following the false claim by the US military that it had targeted 6 Iranian speedboats, since none of the IRGC combat vessels had been hit, an investigation was conducted into the nature of the claim from local sources,” the source said.
“It was determined that the American aggressive forces had attacked 2 small boats carrying people‘s cargo that were moving from Khasab on the coasts of Oman towards the coasts of Iran. The Americans must definitely be held accountable for their crime in this regard.” the source added.
The source noted that 5 civilian passengers were martyred in the US attack, adding, “This military source emphasized that this hasty measure by the enemy is due to deep fear and nightmare of the American military from the IRGC speedboat operation amid the Trump’s so called “Project Freedom”, which Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has described it as “Project Deadlock

Fires at UAE oil sites stem from US’ reckless actions — Iranian agency
«Iran has blamed fires at oil facilities in the United Arab Emirates on the United States’ attempts to ensure passage of some ships through the Strait of Hormuz, the NourNews agency said» according to TASS Russian News Agency.
According to its sources, Iran did not plan any attacks on oil facilities and what happened is the result of the United States’ reckless actions as it tried to facilitate the illegal passage via navigation routes prohibited by Tehran.
“What happened was a product of the US Army’s adventurism to create a corridor for the illegal passage of ships through the prohibited waterways of the Strait of Hormuz,” the source stated.
He said the American military must take responsibility for the incident, slamming Washington for recklessly endangering regional stability.
The UAE authorities said earlier that a drone attack on an oil facility in the Fujairah Emirate was followed by a strong fire. Three Indian nationals were hurt. The UAE foreign ministry “strongly condemned the renewed Iranian terrorist attacks on civilian facilities” and warned that Abu Dhabi reserves the right to retaliate. Meanwhile, the Iranian state television said that Tehran had no plans to attack the UAE.
Amost a Western False-Flag to Restart War: Fujairah Port hit due to Naval Battle in Homuz
A massive blaze at oil facilities in Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday was a direct consequence of ‘American adventurism’ in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, according to a report.
Citing a senior military source, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) said the Iranian armed forces had no premeditated plan to attack the aforementioned oil facilities, Iranian Press Tv wrote.
The incident has the appearance of a Western “false-flag” in many ways for several reasons:
The UAE has just left OPEC, marking a step closer to the West.
British Prime Minister K. Starmer has just announced the United Kingdom’s entry into war alongside the United Statesto liberate the Strait of Hormuz following King Charles II’s visit to US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Therefore, the UAE Ministry of Defense’s claim that it shot down Iranian missiles and drones becomes suspicious.
However, it may have been an unfortunate activation of its anti-missile defenses (including an Israeli IronDome system deployed under military secrecy) specifically to benefit US ships operating in the Gulf of Hormuz. Therefore, the fire may have been collateral damage caused by one of the defensive rockets, as has already occurred several times in Qatar and Kuwait.

U.S. finally Confirmed that Iran launched missiles and drones at American ships
The U.S. used attack helicopters to blow up small boats and intercept Iranian missiles aimed at American-flagged ships in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Commander of U.S. Central Command. No vessels were hit, and no one was injured.
U.S. Navy ships were protecting American commercial vessels transiting the strait as part of President Donald Trump’s new mission to guide stranded boats through the critical waterway, one official said.
This statement is only partially true, as confirmed by the IRGC and as can be seen in the video we posted below. The Iranian Navy fired a shot into the water just below the bow of the US warship, intentionally avoiding a strike to avert triggering a new escalation of war.

CENTCOM: “No US Navy ships have been struck” but Iran Navy release First Footage of Attack
The US’ Central Command (CENTCOM) has said “no US Navy ships have been struck. US forces are supporting Project Freedom and enforcing the naval blockade on Iranian ports,” it said on X.
The statement contradicts earlier claims by Iran’s Fars News Agency saying two missiles hit a US Navy vessel near Jask after it ignored warnings from the IRGC to halt.
But some gours later this post Iran Navy has released the first footage of the Attack, published by News-Pravda (read and watch below).
Iran warns US destroyers near Hormuz, fires warning shots
«Iran’s navy issued warnings and fired warning shots at US destroyers approaching the Strait of Hormuz, according to statements broadcast by Iranian State television»Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV has reported.
The report said US naval vessels attempted to approach the strategic waterway after allegedly switching off their radar systems while operating in the Sea of Oman. Iranian forces detected the vessels once their radar systems were reactivated and issued an initial radio warning, the report added.
According to Iranian media, US destroyers did not respond to the first warning, prompting a second and more forceful alert from Iranian naval units. During the second warning, Iranian forces stated that any attempt to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a violation of the ceasefire.
Following the continued disregard for warnings, Iranian naval forces fired warning shots using cruise missiles, rocket launchers, and combat drones.
The move is considered a defensive measure aimed at preventing escalation while signaling readiness to respond to perceived violations. Iranian State television also reported that the navy warned of “serious consequences” for any further actions by hostile forces.
No commercial ship or oil tanker transited Strait of Hormuz in past hours: IRGC
No commercial vessels or oil tankers have transited the Strait of Hormuz in the past several hours, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Monday, dismissing recent US claims as “baseless and outright false.”
In a statement issued by the IRGC’s Public Relations Office, the elite force stressed that maritime movements in breach of its declared naval regulations will face serious risks, and that any violating vessel will be stopped forcefully.
“No commercial or tanker vessels have transited the Strait of Hormuz in the past several hours,” the statement read. “US officials’ claims are baseless and outright false.”
The US military said earlier that two US Navy guided-missile destroyers had entered the Persian Gulf and that two American ships had transited the Strait of Hormuz, after the Iranian Navy said it repelled a US warship approaching the strategic waterway, which has remained under Iranian control since the early days of the war.
Two missiles hit US Navy vessel after it ignored Iran’s warning
«Two missiles have struck a US Navy vessel near the strategic Strait of Hormuz after it ignored warnings from Iran’s naval forces, according to a report» Iranian Press TV has just written.
Fars News Agency reported that the American warship was moving in the vicinity of Jask port on Monday with the intention of transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, in violation of maritime security protocols.
The vessel reportedly disregarded multiple warnings issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s naval forces before being targeted. According to the report, the US vessel suffered damage from the strikes, forcing it to abandon its course and retreat from the area. (video of previous naval battle below)
The Islamic Republic of Iran had previously announced that any transit through the Strait of Hormuz without official authorization from Iran is not permitted, and that any disregard for this warning would be met with a decisive response from the country’s armed forces.

Tehran warns Trump’s Hormuz mission will violate ceasefire
US President Donald Trump has announced a naval mission, dubbed Project Freedom, to escort stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, with operations set to begin in the coming hours.
Top Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Azizi says any US interference in the strait will be considered a violation of the ceasefire.
The Iranian Proposal and the Strait of Hormuz
According to Axios, Tehran’s 14-point proposal being considered by Trump (which Trump, however, appears to dislike) includes a one-month deadline to reach an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, ending the US blockade, sanctions, and the war in Iran and Lebanon. Only after that would nuclear negotiations begin.
The Turkish news agency Anadolu, citing the specialized website TankerTrackers, reports that an Iranian “supertanker” carrying 1.9 million barrels of crude oil “escaped” the US Navy blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and “reached the Far East.” On board was “nearly $200 million.” (video below is about a previous breach).

Any US interference in new Hormuz regime is ceasefire violation: Iran lawmaker
A senior Iranian parliamentarian has warned that any US interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a direct violation of the ceasefire, dismissing President Donald Trump’s plan to escort ships through the waterway as “delusional.”
Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian parliament’s foreign policy and national security commission, made the remarks in a social media post on Sunday.
“Any American interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the ceasefire,” Azizi wrote.
“The Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf would not be managed by Trump’s delusional posts! No one would believe blame game scenarios!”
Azizi’s warning came after Trump announced a plan for US forces to begin escorting ships through the strait on Monday, a waterway that has been largely blocked since the outbreak of the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran on February 28.
Iran: “Intercontinental ballistic missiles are ready to strike targets in New York, Washington in the event of military aggression”
“Iran has stated that 500 of its intercontinental ballistic missiles are ready to strike targets in New York and Washington in the event of military aggression”News-Pravda has reported.
It could just be a propaganda ploy by Tehran to discourage a resumption of the war, but it could also have a basis…
As far as is officially known, the IRGC does not possess any ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles), but there is a possibility that it received them from China, Russia or North Korea, having already used them in a test launch against the UK-US base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
That would be the best possible outcome.. Destruction and the extension of the war onto American soil is exactly what the U.S. deserves—and has deserved for a long time.
US approves $8.6bn in arms sales to Middle East allies
The Israeli occupation regime has received a fresh delivery of US military equipment, with two cargo vessels transporting approximately 6,500 tons of weapons and logistical assets arriving within the past 24 hours, according to the Israeli Ministry of War.
The sales come after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio cited emergency circumstances to fast-track the transfers without prior review by the US Congress.
The shipments, which docked at ports in Haifa and Ashdod, included a wide range of matériel, among them “thousands of air munitions, ground munitions, military trucks, JLTV combat mobility vehicles, and additional equipment,” the occupation regime ministry said.
The sales include the transfer of an advanced precision kill weapon system (APKWS) and related equipment to Israel for $992m, and the purchase of battle command systems by Kuwait for $2.5bn.
The latest delivery forms part of a broader supply pipeline that has expanded significantly since the outbreak of the war on Iran on February 28. Israeli reime authorities report that more than 115,600 tons of military cargo have been delivered through 403 airlifts and 10 maritime shipments over that period.
Israel issues new forced displacement orders within Airstrikes on Health Service in southern Lebanon
Five medics were bombed by Israel’s military earlier. This is a pattern we continue to see day in, day out – Israel carrying out attacks on these very critical members of the medical response teams in Lebanon’s south.
Hospitals have been a specific target for Israeli attacks as well. Israel says some of the paramedics are affiliated with Hezbollah, or affiliated with the Amal movement, giving them pretexts to carry out these attacks, saying ambulances are carrying fighters and weapons.
What we’re seeing on the ground is Israel systematically destroying these critical services and infrastructure related to sustaining life in the south.
Overnight, there was a series of intense explosions here in Tyre near the coastline in the southwest sector. There’s no sign of a ceasefire here. Most people are expecting the situation to continue to intensify, especially after Israel issued another threat to people in 11 towns and villages to leave.
“For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move away from the villages and towns by at least 1,000 metres [0.6 miles] into open areas,” the Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee posted on X on Sunday.
The warning covers more than 10 villages and towns, including several in the district of Nabatieh that lie north of the Litani River, south of which Israel has stationed troops.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that the Israeli occupation carried out a wide-scale aggression over the past hours, launching a series of intense airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon. The total number of raids recorded in recent hours has exceeded 15, targeting multiple towns.

NEW VIDEO: Iran damaged most US military facilities in the Middle East
Iran damaged most US military facilities in the Middle East, according to new investigation and footage by CNN
At least 16 US military sites in eight Middle Eastern countries were struck, CNN reported, with the damage in some cases severe enough to render the positions virtually inoperable.
The findings suggest that these affected facilities make up most US military positions in the region, according to a congressional aide familiar with damage assessments.
The investigation drew on dozens of satellite images alongside interviews with sources in the United States and Gulf Arab states. A range of assessments has emerged regarding the extent of the damage.
“There has been a spectrum of assessments,” the source told CNN. “From a pretty dramatic side, of the whole facility is destroyed and needs to be shut down, to leaders who say these things are worth repairing due to the strategic benefit they give the US.”
This new report confirmed the revelations told in the lates days by a retired US Army lt. col.: “US bases in Mideast were obliterated, some of them wiped off the map”

Veteran: “CENTCOM’s Request for Dark Eagle Missiles Shows Shortage of Weapons and Limited Options”
«CENTCOM’s top commander has reportedly briefed Donald Trump on a potential “final blow” military strategy against Iran, marking a major escalation in the ongoing US-Iran conflict. According to reports, the plan includes a “short and powerful wave of strikes” targeting Iranian military assets, leadership infrastructure, and strategic defense systems» CNN has reported.
«A major escalation is being reported in rising US–Iran tensions as the United States considers deploying its advanced “Dark Eagle” hypersonic missile system to the Middle East. The move is being discussed as part of a broader military strategy to counter Iranian missile capabilities that have reportedly been repositioned beyond the reach of conventional US strike systems» CNN explained in a Video.
“The Dark Eagle has reportedly not been declared fully operational in the past,” Magnier says. “So when the US decided to deploy it, it signaled urgency, escalation pressure. And above all, shortage of suitable conventional weapons.”
The request for untested hypersonic missiles for the Middle East arena exposes the US’ failure to neutralize Iran’s launcher network, veteran war correspondent Elijah J. Magnier tells Sputnik.
The request also shows that earlier Pentagon statements that Iran’s launchers were fully destroyed did not match reality, the pundit continues.
“Militarily, the Dark Eagle hypersonic would not overturn the balance of power by itself, especially if the available inventory is very limited,” Magnier says. “The value is political and operational.”

USS Ford Aircraft Carrier Leaves Middle East for Repair
The USS Gerald R. Ford is heading home after 10 months at sea — the longest deployment of any modern US carrier — worn down by a laundry room fire, toilet failures, and the strain of nonstop operations.
The Ford is expected back in Virginia around mid‑May for extensive repairs, The Washington Post reported, citing US officials. US security expert: CIA, during the truce with Iran, conducted operations to arm Iranians
The CIA, during the truce with Iran, could have conducted operations inside the country to arm the Iranian people, said Rebecca Heinrichs, a US security expert.
“Well, we know very little, but we remember that at the beginning of the movie Epic Fury, Trump administration officials called very cautiously, in fact, they were talking to the Iranian people, saying that this war is not against you, and you need to wait. We don’t want you to go out to protest yet, but there will be a time when we will make it clear”.
“President Trump also said earlier in the war that the United States was trying to deliver weapons to some people who might be willing to use them against the regime. We had to stop it because the weapons were intercepted and did not reach the Iranian people. But my question is, Dana, are we doing this now? Have we used this truce, in fact, to conduct CIA operations inside Iran to make sure that the Iranian people are armed? Because they will be a huge asset to the United States. They are the ones who will eventually overthrow the regime. But the regime, I think, is very afraid of the Iranian people. And that’s why we need to keep monitoring it. Rebecca, thank you.”

US administration considers option of declaring end to Iran war — Reuters
The US intelligence community is assessing, at the request of the White House, the consequences of a possible unilateral declaration by the United States of the end of the war with Iran, Reuters has reported.
Citing two US officials and another person familiar with the matter, it specified that US intelligence services are analyzing “how Iran would respond if [US] President Donald Trump were to declare a unilateral victory.”
“The goal is to understand the implications of Trump potentially pulling back from a conflict that some [US] officials and advisers worry could contribute to deep Republican losses at the midterm elections later this year,” the publication notes.
The midterm elections in the US will take place in November, and many observers currently predict defeat for the ruling Republican Party, primarily due to the deeply unpopular operation against Iran and the resulting rise in fuel prices in the country.

Israel using ceasefire to impose ‘Gaza‑style yellow zone’ in south Lebanon
A newly announced extension of the Lebanon ceasefire has been described by Israel’s UN envoy as “not 100%.” RT’s correspondent in Beirut, Steve Sweeney, says the remarks by Ambassador Danny Danon reflect the situation on the ground, with monitors recording repeated violations by West Jerusalem.
The 10‑day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, initially announced by US President Donald Trump last week, was extended by another three weeks on Thursday.
According to Sweeney, Israeli forces have used the lull to occupy swathes of southern Lebanon and impose a Gaza‑style “yellow zone” covering around 55 towns and villages where residents are barred from returning.
Israel continues attacks on Lebanon despite extension of ceasefire
He described the area as “in effect a kill zone,” pointing to reports that troops have been told to open fire on anyone entering and to the destruction of homes, hospitals, ambulances, schools, and other civilian infrastructure since the escalation in March, which has left nearly 2,500 people dead.
While the three‑week extension may offer some relief to Beirut after weeks of bombardment and Trump “seems to think he could work a longer‑term peace deal,” for people on the ground – particularly in southern Lebanon – “it seems a very distant hope,” Sweeney says.

Somalia closes Bab Al-Mandab for Israel after Netanyahu exchanges Ambassadors with Somaliland
Amid global trade disruptions due to Strait of Hormuz closure, Somalia has reportedly banned Israel-linked vessels from traversing Bab al-Mandab. As per a report by the Yemen Press Agency, the move comes after Israel’s engagement with the breakaway region of Somaliland.
The ban follows Israel’s recent implementation of an agreement to exchange ambassadors with Somaliland. Somaliland lacks international recognition under United Nations frameworks. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the announcement was made by Somalia’s ambassador to Ethiopia, Abdullah Warfa. Warfa issued a stern warning that any violation of Somalia’s territorial sovereignty would not be tolerated, the report said.
He further stated that external meddling could lead to countermeasures, such as restricting access to the key maritime route of Bab al-Mandab. If tensions around Bab al-Mandab escalate, they could further intensify ongoing trade disruptions caused by closure of the Hormuz Strait. However, reports note that Bab al-Mandab is not as heavily trafficked a strait due to threats from Somali groups and Houthis and is not a ‘cul-de-sac’ like Hormuz.

Israeli soldier outraged a statue of Jesus Christ with a sledgehammer in southern Lebanon
A photo of an Israeli soldier smashing a statue of Jesus Christ with a sledgehammer in southern Lebanon has sparked widespread condemnation.
Israeli officials confirmed the image is genuine and ‘promised to investigate’.
The image was reportedly shared online and attributed by some posts to an Israeli occupation soldier. This isn’t an isolated case. Desecration of religious sanctities is a recurrent activity for Israeli forces.
«From Gaza to South Lebanon, numerous videos and photos were posted by Israeli soldiers themselves showing them shooting pointlessly at mosques, desecrating churches, and destroying statues of religious figures»Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV has pointed out.
We have delayed writing this investigation because opening the dossier on the soldiers of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionist Israeli regime is like opening the gates of hell.
Even for journalists accustomed to reporting on war crimes by the Israel Defense Forces, the horror of the perverse aberrations committed by the zionist servicemen is disgusting and terrifying, precisely because these are not occasional rapes of Palestinians held in prisons, mostly without trial or charges, but solely for alleged rebellion, even if only ideological and verbal, against the genocide underway in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, but a kind of serial and sistematic new crimes against humanity as the “domicide”(explanation in the link).
The report is very lengthy, so we will begin with a brief summary of the main crimes and then exaggerate some of the most emblematic and shocking cases, narrated through the detailed testimonies of victims collected by humanitarian workers.
It refers to:
gang rapes of prisoners male and female using instruments that damaged their reproductive systems
the use of trained rape dogs
video recordings of the rapes, likely for profit in the global pornography industry
“US commits maritime piracy, Iranian forces targets American Warships with drone attacks”
The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters on Sunday night condemned the criminal operation by the US Navy, as Press TV reported.
“The aggressor United States violated the ceasefire and committed maritime piracy by firing at an Iranian merchant ship in the waters of the Sea of Oman and landing a number of its terrorist marines on the deck of the vessel, disabling its navigation system,” Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari said.
The Iranian “almost aircraft carrier” went to break the blockade in the Gulf of Oman
“We warn that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon respond to this armed piracy and retaliation by the US army,” he added.
In immediate response, Iranian forces struck back, targeting several American military vessels in the area with drone attacks.

Trump says U.S. seized Iranian ship as tensions rise amid ceasefire – 2 VIDEOS
President Donald Trump said that U.S. forces have seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship that allegedly attempted to breach a U.S. naval blockade.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the nearly 900-foot cargo vessel TOUSKA was intercepted by the Navy destroyer USS Spruance in the Gulf of Oman after ignoring warnings to stop. Iran has not publicly commented on the reported seizure.
“The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom. Right now, US Marines have custody of the vessel,” he wrote on Truth Social.
Footage from social media shows the attack. CENTCOM officially released it later…
“US Marines are Aboard an Iranian Ship” he added (video below)
The incident underscores how fragile the ceasefire remains, with each side accusing the other of violations and at odds on when to resume peace talks.
Iran has rejected taking part in the second round of talks with the United States, the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Sunday. Vice President JD Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will attend the talks with Iran, a White House official told Iran International.
President Donald Trump said Iran had violated the ceasefire by firing shots in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that Washington was offering a fair deal and that US representatives will arrive in Islamabad on Monday for negotiations with Tehran.
The USS Gerald Ford has left the Mediterranean and is now operating in the Red Sea, CNN reported, citing US officials. The move is meant to strengthen military readiness in case attacks on Iran resume if the ceasefire is not extended.

Iran Blocks Even a Chinese Ship as Hormuz Tensions Escalate
Amid rising tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has denied passage to a Chinese bulk carrier, countering the belief that Beijing enjoys unrestricted access. In a statement, Iran clarified that no “blanket approval” is given to any country’s vessels.
The development comes as uncertainty continues over the waterway, with shifting positions, US naval blockade, and ongoing nuclear tensions between Washington and Tehran ahead of the next round of talks.
The Iranian consulate in Mumbai said in a post on X that the Islamic Republic didn’t grant a Chinese bulk carrier passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran didn’t grant passage to a Chinese vessel. The bulk carrier SUN PROFIT, owned and crewed by Chinese nationals, was forced to abruptly change course and turn back. Contrary to popular belief, Iran doesn’t give blanket approval to Chinese ships,” the consulate’s post read.

IRNA denies 2nd round of negotiations reports
Iran has not yet made a decision on whether it will engage in a new round of negotiations with the United States, local media reported on Sunday. IRNA news agency said that “there is no clear prospect of fruitful negotiations.”
IRNA denied reports that a second round of negotiations had been held in Islamabad, stating that they were “incorrect.” The state news agency reported that Washington’s “maximalism and excessive and unrealistic demands,” along with “frequent changes of positions, constant contradictions, and the continuation of the so-called naval blockade.”
The agency added that under these conditions, “there is no clear prospect of fruitful negotiations.”

Iran closes Strait of Hormuz after US maintains blockade in violation of ceasefire terms: IRGC Navy
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy says Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz after the United States chose to maintain its blockade of the Islamic Republic’s ports in violation of the conditions of the ongoing ceasefire, as Iranian Press Tv reported.
In a statement on Saturday, the IRGC Navy noted that the Islamic Republic had decided to allow non-military vessels to transit through the strategic waterway along a specific corridor designated by Tehran after the ceasefire was announced.
“However, due to the violation of the ceasefire conditions, and as the American adversary has not lifted the naval blockade on Iranian vessels and ports, the Strait of Hormuz has been closed as of this evening until this blockade is removed,” the Corps said.
Accordingly, the IRGC warned that no vessel should make any movement from its anchorage in the Persian Gulf or the Sea of Oman to approach the strait, the statement added.
Such movement, it added, would be considered “cooperation with the enemy, and the violating vessel will be targeted.”

Hezbollah issued on Saturday a statement to dent any connection to the incident that occurred with UNIFIL forces in the Al-Ghandouriya – Bint Jbeil area, calling for caution in passing judgments and assigning responsibilities, pending the Lebanese Army’s investigations to fully ascertain the circumstances of the incident as reported by Al Manar English Website.
Hezbollah also stressed the continuation of cooperation between the residents, UNIFIL, and the Lebanese Army, affirming the necessity of coordination between the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL in its movements, especially under these sensitive circumstances.
In this context, Hezbollah expressed its astonishment at the positions that rushed to hurl accusations arbitrarily, at a time “when these parties are absent and no voice is heard from them when the Israeli enemy assaults UNIFIL forces”.
Lebanese President Aoun speaks with Macron: “I gave instructions to prosecute those responsible”
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, to whom he assured that he had given “precise instructions to the competent bodies for an immediate investigation into the incident” in which a French peacekeeper was killed and three others were injured “and to determine those responsible.”
This is according to a post on X by the Lebanese presidency, which states that Beirut “will not compromise in pursuing the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.”
A Lebanon’s Statesman worried by Strangers’ Deaths more than his own Compatriots Killed by Zionist
Unfortunately, in six years of government, President Aoun has still not been able to identify those truly responsible for the horrific attack on the Port of Beirut in August 2020, which many intelligence sources have attributed to an Israeli tactical nuclear missile.
It is therefore clear that he cares much more about foreign victims in Lebanon than about his own compatriots, brutally massacred by Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionist army, as happened recently, on April 8, shortly after the truce agreement between Iran and the United States.

US National security analyst Brandon Weichert says Washington’s naval blockade will fail
US National security analyst Brandon Weichert says Washington’s naval blockade will fail. Iran can simply ship oil overland to China — its main customer — via rebuilt railways. Israel bombed one key line, but it’s already restored.
Iranian media posted video of a freight train crossing the Yahyaabad bridge in Kashan, central Iran on Friday after repair work to a section damaged by US-Israeli bombings.
Iran’s foreign minister says all damaged infrastructure “will be built back stronger.”Key infrastructure already being repaired or where assessments are underway”.
Brandon J. Weichert, National Interest’s national security analyst, is a former congressional staffer and geopolitical analyst who contributes to The Washington Times, Asia Times, and The-Pipeline.
“It is not inconceivable that if we did make this blockade serious, they’d transport energy overland into Central Asia, into China, and the Chinese would keep flowing in weapons to help Iran resist us. “
Khatam HQ warns Trump: Security for all ports in the Gulf or for none
Security in the Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be enforced on a reciprocal basis, following the United States’ announcement of a naval blockade targeting Iran, the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, stated.
Zolfaghari said Iran considers the defense of its territorial waters a “natural and lawful duty,” stressing that the presence of foreign-aligned vessels in key maritime corridors will not be permitted.
“The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran explicitly and decisively declare that the security of ports in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman is either for everyone or for no one,”the spokesperson said, warning that any threat to Iranian maritime security would result in broader regional consequences.
The statement reaffirmed Tehran’s position that it will continue to regulate passage through the Strait of Hormuz under a “permanent regime” implemented by its armed forces. It also stated that vessels affiliated with adversaries “do not have and will not have the right to pass” through the strategic waterway, while other ships would be allowed transit under Iranian regulations.
Iran emphasized that US restrictions on maritime navigation are “illegal” and an act of “maritime piracy”.

President Trump has called on countries under pressure over Iran’s disruption of the Strait of Hormuz to turn to American energy supplies. It appears they may be listening.
The president stated on Fox, quote: “China can send its ships to the United States, China can send its ships to Venezuela, and empty tankers from other countries are already heading to the United States”.
Beijing has warned the US that the Hormuz blockade does not apply to Chinese tankers
China will continue to use the Strait of Hormuz for its oil tankers, warning the United States of any interference with energy supplies. Trump’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz does not apply to China.
Beijing has officially notified Washington that Chinese oil tankers, whether Iranian or not, will be free to navigate the Strait of Hormuz. Any interference in this process will result in retaliatory measures from China. Beijing will likely start a new trade war with the United States.
Yesterday, Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun made a statement making it clear that Chinese ships and vessels would be free to pass through the Strait of Hormuz despite the US blockade.
Our ships enter and exit the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. We have trade and energy agreements with Iran. We will respect and implement them and expect others not to interfere in our affairs.
Meanwhile, the US has deployed approximately 15 ships to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.
These include the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, several destroyers, and amphibious assault ships. Their mission is to stop tankers carrying Iranian oil and other vessels leaving Iranian ports. Trump stated that if Iran does not reach a deal with the US, the consequences will be “unpleasant. ”

Trump says US will block Strait of Hormuz, IRGC threatens attacks on Military Vessels
President Donald Trump says the United States Navy will begin blockading the Strait of Hormuz “immediately” after peace talks between the US and Iran in Pakistan ended without an agreement.
Trump, in a social media post on Sunday, accused Iran of “extortion” and said the US Navy would also hunt down and interdict ships in international waters that have paid Iran a toll to traverse the strait and begin clearing mines that he says Iran placed in the strait.
“So, there you have it, the meeting went well, most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not,” Trump said.
“Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz.”
Iran has essentially taken control over the Strait of Hormuz, a vital chokepoint for the global energy market, since the US and Israel launched a war on Iran on February 28.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards warned on Sunday that civilian vessels can cross the strait in compliance with “specific regulations”, but that military vessels approaching the strait would be considered in violation of the ceasefire and “dealt with severely”.
VIDEO and RADIO Audio – How IRGC Navy Repelled US Destroyers from Entry in the Strait of Hormuz
The IRGC is not joking: Iran was ready to sink two destroyers trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz
Yesterday, during negotiations, the US Navy destroyers USS Michael Murphy and USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. tried to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, but did not dare.
“When the two destroyers and their accompanying fleet reached the entrance to the Persian Gulf, Iranian cruise missiles targeted them, and the destroyers were given only 30 minutes to turn back. The ships immediately retreated.” the Iranian army reports.
In confirmation, the IRGC publishes a video with the “latest Iranian warning.” An illustrative master class on how to talk to an arrogant Washington. No “deep concerns” or red lines with a marker pen.
Domicide: new Kind of War Crimes in Lebanon: ‘Israel’ demolishes entire Villages
The Israeli occupation has demolished entire villages in southern Lebanon as part of its ongoing border offensive, using remotely triggered explosives to level homes in mass detonations that have left residents describing their communities as erased.
Videos reviewed by The Guardian show Israeli forces carrying out controlled explosions in the villages of al-Taybeh, Naqoura, and Deir Seryan along the Lebanon-Palestinian border. Lebanese media have reported additional detonations in nearby border towns, though satellite verification was not always available.
The destruction followed statements by “Israel’s” War Minister, Israel Katz, who called for the demolition of “all houses” in border villages, referencing what he described as the “model used in Rafah and Beit Hanoun in Gaza” to prevent threats to northern “Israel”. In Gaza, Israeli operations have previously destroyed an estimated 90% of homes in Rafah.
«Human Rights groups and legal experts have described the tactic as part of a broader pattern of “domicide”, the systematic destruction of civilian housing that renders entire areas uninhabitable» Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV wrote.
1.1 million people, including 390,000 children, forced out of their homes by relentless bombardment. Towns and villages flattened. Infrastructures destroyed. Innocent civilians killed. There is no justification for this.

Vance admits failure in Islamabad: “Iran rejected our conditions”
JD Vance’s diplomatic mission to Pakistan ended on a note of profound bitterness. Speaking from Islamabad shortly before returning to the United States, the US vice president officially confirmed the failure of negotiations with Tehran, making no secret of his disappointment at an outcome that prolongs the uncertainty in the region.
“We are returning home without having reached an agreement,”
Vance began, underscoring the firmness of the American position during the 21-hour meeting. The vice president explained that the US delegation had clearly delineated its “red lines”—particularly regarding the nuclear program and the security of the Strait of Hormuz—clearly distinguishing between the points on which Washington was willing to mediate and those considered non-negotiable.
“We did so as clearly as possible,” Vance added, pointing the finger at his counterpart: “They chose not to accept our conditions.” The failure to meet American demands for guarantees and Iranian demands (which included war reparations and the immediate lifting of sanctions) brings the conflict back to an extremely critical stage.
Tehran’s spokesman lists the key issues: from the Strait of Hormuz to war reparations, defending national interests by all means.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei reviewed the issues addressed during the intense diplomatic marathon in Islamabad.
Over the past 24 hours, discussions have focused on the fundamental pillars of the conflict and regional stability, touching on extremely sensitive issues: security in the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear program, the demand for war reparations, the lifting of economic sanctions, and the definitive cessation of hostilities in Iran and the entire region.
Despite the complexity of the negotiations, Baqaei reiterated Tehran’s firm position: the country is “determined to use all means,” explicitly citing diplomacy as the primary, but not exclusive, tool to “protect and safeguard national interests.” The spokesperson’s words confirm that, although the dialogue remains open, Iran is not willing to give up on points deemed vital to its sovereignty and security.

Al Mayadeen Interview: “Professor Marandi: No trust in the US, only actions matter”
Professor Mohammad Marandi has expressed to Al Mayadeen that no positive results can be expected so far from the ongoing talks between Iran and the US in Islamabad, citing what he described as “exaggerated” US demands and emphasizing that Lebanon remains a fundamental issue.
Marandi, who is accompanying the Iranian delegation, stated that no agreement will be reached if Washington ignores the rights of Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, and the resistance front.
He stressed that Tehran insists on a ceasefire in Lebanon and the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) from southern Lebanon.
Marandi added that Iran is not dependent on reaching a deal and is prepared to return without an agreement, emphasizing that Tehran’s participation demonstrates its willingness to give diplomacy a chance.
Marandi warned that negotiations could collapse at any moment, pointing to the role of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in potentially influencing US positions.
“We don’t trust the United States, and we are also being very busy preparing ourselves for the next round of war.”
IRGC Navy warns military vessels of ‘firm response’ to attempts at crossing Strait of Hormuz
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)’s Navy has warned military vessels of a “firm response” to their potential attempts at passing through the Strait of Hormuz, as reported by Press TV
The Navy delivered the warning in a statement on Saturday, asserting that it “exercises full, intelligent control” over the strategic waterway. “Permission to transit, in accordance with specific regulations, is granted exclusively to non-military vessels,” it noted.
The Navy categorically rejected reports claiming passage of American vessels through the strait, and reiterated that any such attempt would be met with “a decisive and forceful response.”
Spokesman of the Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters refutes CENTCOM’s claims that American vessels have crossed the Strait of Hormuz, stressing that permission of passage of any vessel through the strait lies in the hands of the Iranian Armed Forces.
Iran shut the strait down to adversaries and their allies after the United States and the Israeli regime launched their latest wave of unprovoked aggression towards the Islamic Republic.
Each year, the waterway hosts 20 percent of the world’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) transit and 25 percent of seaborne oil trade.Closing it sent shockwaves throughout global energy markets, including in the United States, where gas prices skyrocketed and prompted nationwide resentment at the ruling administration.
On Tuesday, amid the Islamic Republic’s strict implementation of the restriction and its successive waves of retaliatory strikes against American and Israeli targets throughout the region, US President Donald Trump announced agreeing to a two-week lull in American attacks targeting the country.

The source absolutely denied claims about the US vessel crossing the Strait, telling Al Mayadeen that media outlets close to the White House are reporting on false information amid another field setback.
They added that the alleged vessel was a small boat that made a strenuous attempt to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, adding that it was fully surrounded and given a firm warning by Iranian forces, forcing the US vessel to retreat and change course.

Satanic Zionist Netanyahu’s ongoing Genocide to Break Iran-US Truce Talks
Analysis by Fabio G.C. Carisio – Gospa News International founder and director
But Netanyahu is aiming to derail the summit ahead of his meeting with Lebanon on Tuesday in an attempt to convince it to split the truce agreements in two: one between Iran and the US and the other between Israel and Lebanon.
To achieve this goal, they bombed northern Lebanon today, causing further deaths, adding to the dozens killed yesterday and the hundreds killed in the massacre in Beirut on April 8, just hours after the truce agreement between the US and Iran.
The details and videos are provided by the Lebanese newspaper Al Manar, which we quote below.
Dozens Martyred as Israeli Airstrikes Intensify across Southern Lebanon on Saturday – VIDEO
«Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon escalated sharply on Saturday, hitting multiple towns and residential areas across the Nabatieh district and beyond, leaving dozens martyred and causing extensive destruction to homes, infrastructure, and civilian facilities» has reported Al Manar.
The attack of Israeli Air Force (IAF) killed at least 31 people: 18 civilians (adding to the 7 people murdered yesterday) and 13 security servicemen.
Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids beginning at dawn, including a strike on a residential building in Mayfadoun that leveled the structure and reportedly killed three people. Additional airstrikes targeted the town of Toul, where several residential buildings were destroyed.
In Jebshit, an airstrike hit a private electricity generator facility, destroying it and sparking a large fire. The town was struck again later in the day after two earlier dawn raids.
«Lebanon’s Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of eight people and the injury of nine others in a massacre carried out by Israeli forces, which targeted a vehicle in the town of Tefahta in the Sidon district» adds Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV.
Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon also targeted paramedics, as the occupation targeted a point of the Islamic Health Authority in the town of Majadel.

Airstrikes also pounded the Al-Rahbet neighborhood in Nabatieh city, while nearby towns including Kfar Rumman, Kfar Sir, and Zifta came under repeated bombardment.
In Kfarsir, three consecutive strikes reportedly killed three people. Another raid on a residential building along the Zifta–Nabatieh highway, opposite a gas station, destroyed the structure and killed four civilians.
In Jbaa, in the Iqlim Al-Tuffah region, a missile fired by an Israeli warplane failed to detonate, a day after seven people were martyred by an Israeli strike on a local car wash facility.

2nd footage – an Israeli airstrike near Tebnine Governmental Hospital in southern Lebanon
Further south, a civilian was martyred in an airstrike on Qsaibeh, while Israeli warplanes struck the outskirts of Qantara, Adshit, Qusayr, and Khiam.
In Tibnine, two Israeli strikes were reported, one near the town’s cemetery, while the second hit near Tibnine Governmental Hospital.
Overnight, airstrikes hit Khiam, while shortly after midnight, an Israeli Merkava tank shelled the town of Mansouri, south of Tyre. Israeli aircraft were also reported flying over the Bekaa Valley.
In a separate development, Lebanon’s General Directorate of State Security announcedmartyrdom of 13 of its personnel in an earlier strike targeting the Nabatieh Serial.
Lebanon (video): Doctors had to remove Symbols from the Roofs of Ambulances to Avoid Israeli strikes
Steve Sweeney, head of the RT bureau in Lebanon, told Tucker Carlson about this in an interview.
“A rare day is passing now without reports that a medical worker has been hit.… Medical facilities must be protected by international law, and, of course, deliberate attacks on them are a war crime,” Sweeney stressed.
Earlier, 12 medical workers were killed in an Israeli strike on a medical center in Lebanon. In addition, the IDF attacked the building of the health department, and also hit a civil defense point in the south of the country.
An ambulance was destroyed within killing of 4 people by Zionist regime Army a few hours after the truce between Iran and US as Gospa News International has reported.

Iranian delegation arrives in Pakistan for ‘make or break’ talks with US
The Iranian delegation, headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has arrived in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, ahead of ceasefire negotiations with the US, Fars News Agency reports.
Fars reports that Iran’s delegation security, political, military, economic, and legal committees, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Ali Akbar Ahmadian, representative of Iran’s Leader in the Supreme National Security Council, are also accompanying Ghalibaf.
Iranian delegation led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf arrives in Islamabad for ceasefire talks with the American side.
According to Fars, negotiations are contingent on Washington accepting Iran’s preconditions before formal discussions can begin, underscoring Tehran’s position that prior commitments must be addressed before advancing toward a ceasefire agreement.
The broader ceasefire framework remains fragile, particularly due to “Israel’s” violating the ceasefire in its aggression on Lebanon.
Ghalibaf has repeatedly emphasized that a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of frozen Iranian assets are essential steps that must precede negotiations, while ongoing violations by the US and “Israel” continue to complicate diplomatic efforts.
“Israel” separated itself shortly after the announcement of the ceasefire, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stating that Lebanon was not a part of the deal.
However, according to diplomatic sources speaking with CBS News, US President Donald Trump was informed that the ceasefire framework applied to the broader West Asia, and he reportedly agreed that this would include Lebanon.
US position reportedly changed in worse following a call between Trump and Netanyahu,
A White House official also told CBS News that “Israel” agreed to the terms of the deal, further reinforcing the initial understanding that the ceasefire extended to Lebanon.
Despite the confirmations, the US position reportedly changed following a call between Trump and Netanyahu, raising questions surrounding the consistency and independence of US decision-making in the negotiation process.
The sources also added that the abrupt shifts in Washington’s position made diplomacy increasingly unstable and difficult to manage.

Iran: “Ceasefire in Lebanon and Freezing of Assets Before Any Negotiations”
The Iranian Parliament Speaker is calling for a ceasefire in Lebanon and the freezing of assets before any negotiations, AFP reports.
“Two of the measures mutually agreed upon by the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iranian assets frozen before the start of negotiations. These two issues must be met before negotiations begin,”
Iranian Parliament Speaker MB Ghalibaf wrote on social media. He, along with Minister Araghchi, will lead the Iranian delegation to the talks with the US.
Lebanese Source: “Iran forced Israel to halt attacks on Beirut by threatening to withdraw from talks with US”
«Intense pressure and the threat to withdraw from talks with the United States in Islamabad from Tehran forced the Zionist regime to stop its military attacks on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, a high-ranking security source told Press TV on Friday».
This is what Press TV, an Iranian outlet close to the Tehran government, writes, confirming the issue already reported by the Lebanese TV Al Mayadeen (see update below now 1 PM)
The source hastened to add that the travel of an Iranian delegation to Islamabad was delayed a few times, specifically due to the continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
Through persistent insistence and a credible threat to walk out of the talks, Iran forced the United States to compel the Zionist regime to halt its strikes on Beirut, the source added.
He further emphasized that the continuation of negotiations is also contingent on the Zionist regime refraining from attacking Beirut and its southern suburb of Dahieh.
Gospa News editorial staff invites us to wait for the next few hours to see if this glimmer of hope for the continuation of a fragile ceasefire will be confirmed by the renunciation of attacks by the Israeli Zionist regime, known for betraying every truce commitment as it has already done in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon hundreds of times.

Exclusive: Iran rejects Talks amid ongoing war on Lebanon – VIDEO
«Iranian sources have denied reports of a negotiating delegation arriving in Islamabad, stressing that no talks will take place as long as the war on Lebanon continues, while warning of a potential collapse in ceasefire efforts»Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV has just reported in esclusive confirming the indiscretions reported early this morning by Gospa News International and taken from the Iranian agencies Tansim (close to the IRGC) and FARS (read below update 7 AM).
The United States and Iran agreed to a two‑week ceasefire on April 7 after intensive mediation led by Pakistani PM Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif and military officials, marking a diplomatic breakthrough following weeks of war.
On April 8, Islamabad publicly announced that the ceasefire agreed between Washington and Tehran would apply “everywhere”, including Lebanon, and invited US and Iranian delegations to further negotiations scheduled for April 10 in Pakistan. Also on April 8, Pakistan warned that continued hostilities, such as Israeli strikes on Lebanon, risked undermining the ceasefire and the broader peace process between the United States and Iran.
According to diplomatic sources cited by CBS News, US President Donald Trump was informed that the ceasefire would include Lebanon, and White House officials reported that “Israel” agreed. The US position reportedly shifted following a phone call between President Trump and Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who proclaimed the ceasefire did not include Lebanon.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that claims regarding the arrival of an Iranian negotiating delegation in the Pakistani capital are false, detailing how mediating nations, including Pakistan, have been informed that Tehran will not engage in any negotiations while Israeli attacks on Lebanon persist.
The sources further warned that the United States has only a limited window to restrain “Israel”, otherwise, ongoing ceasefire efforts will collapse.

Trump asked Netanyahu to reduce strikes on Lebanon
Trump asked Netanyahu to reduce the number of strikes on Lebanon, writes NBC News. The US president called the Israeli prime Minister to promote the success of negotiations with Iran, a source in the US administration told the TV channel.
It is reported that Tel Aviv agreed in response and promised to “be a useful partner.” Netanyahu said he had already instructed the start of direct negotiations with Lebanon.
Instead Tehran has made it unequivocally clear that any negotiations over a ceasefire in the region are contingent on Lebanon being included in the deal, Fars News Agency reported, citing an informed source.

After Israel’s heavy attack on Beirut, on the first day of the ceasefire agreed between the US and Iran, which resulted in more than 250 deaths and over 1,000 injuries (watch horrific videos and read details here), Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionist regime is poised to launch another devastating attack against Lebanon and the truce, which it deems too favorable to Tehran.
But confirming the cowardice typical of Israeli war criminals, it is not attacking Iran directly, but is targeting the Lebanese population, which is not protected by an air force and a sophisticated anti-missile system like that of the IRGC.
The Israeli army has warned residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs, a longtime stronghold of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, of impending attacks and urged them to evacuate.
“The Israel Defense Forces continue to operate and target military infrastructure belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah in several areas of the southern suburbs. “Despite the skepticism of the Iranian public opinion due to the repeated ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime to sabotage the diplomatic initiative, invited by [Pakistani] Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Iranian delegation arrives tonight in Islamabad for serious talks based on the 10 points proposed by Iran,” the diplomat wrote on his X page.
Iran says Hormuz closed as fragile truce holds ahead of US talks
The Strait of Hormuz has been fully closed, forcing oil tankers to turn back, Iran’s state-run Press TV reported on Wednesday, according to Iran International.
Vice President JD Vance said Tehran’s negotiators thought the US-Iran ceasefire agreed on Tuesday included Lebanon, but Washington had in fact not agreed to that.
Iran’s parliamentary speaker said several key clauses of Tehran’s proposed framework for negotiations with the United States have already been violated, casting doubt on the basis for talks expected to begin in Pakistan.
The United States and Iran will hold talks in Pakistan on Saturday, the White House confirmed.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force General Dan Caine said the ceasefire with Iran was only a temporary halt and forces remained ready to resume operations
3 key clauses of ceasefire breached before talks even began: Ghalibaf
Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has strongly criticized the violations of the Islamic Republic’s 10-point proposal, also known as the Agreed Framework, even before negotiations have formally begun.
In a statement, Ghalibaf emphasized the historical mistrust Tehran holds toward the United States, noting that it “stems from its repeated violations of all forms of commitments, a pattern that has regrettably been repeated once again.”
He highlighted that the proposal, which the US president has called a “workable basis on which to negotiate,” has already been breached in three significant areas:
Ceasefire in Lebanon – The first clause of the proposal, which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan also explicitly referenced, calls for “an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon and other regions, effective immediately.” Ghalibaf noted this commitment has not been honored.
Violation of Iranian Airspace – An intruding drone entered Iranian airspace and was subsequently destroyed in Lar, Fars Province, in direct contravention of the clause prohibiting such violations.
Right to Nuclear Enrichment – Iran’s entitlement to enrichment, included in the sixth clause of the framework, has been denied.
Ghalibaf stressed that these breaches have undermined the very foundation of the proposed negotiations, stating, “Now, the very ‘workable basis on which to negotiate’ has been openly and clearly violated, even before the negotiations began.”
He concluded that, under the current circumstances, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations would be “unreasonable”.

The United States and Israel violated the ceasefire agreement with Iran by attacking an oil refinery on the Iranian island of Lavan, according to the Iranian television channel Press TV.
Iran’s Mehr news agency reported a series of explosions on Sirri Island in southern Iran. The cause is unknown.
Ceasefire for all or for none: Iran shuts Hormuz over Lebanon attacks
Israel has bombed locations across Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, in devastating attacks that authorities say has killed at least 89 people and wounded over 700.
In response to recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Iranian officials are calling for decisive measures to counter the aggression in support of Lebanon and its people, warning that the Strait of Hormuz could be closed again until the attacks on Lebanon stop, according to Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV.
Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said in a post on X: “In response to the brutal Israeli aggression on Lebanon, the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz must be immediately stopped, and a strong, decisive strike must be launched to prevent further attacks by the Israeli entity.”
Dozens of people are believed to have been killed and hundreds injured in Israel’s major attack on Beirut today, the first day of a ceasefire in Iran agreed overnight. Crowded shopping areas and residential neighborhoods were attacked, sparking panic among residents.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) called today’s attack “the largest coordinated attack” on Lebanon in 2026, explaining that it targeted 100 targets, including missile launchers, command centers, and intelligence infrastructure. It also accused Hezbollah of using civilians as human shields.
Just a couple of hours after a ceasefire deal was reached, “Israel’s” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Wednesday that his government supports the US decision to suspend strikes on Iran for two weeks, but immediately breached the agreement by declaring it does not extend to Lebanon.
The Israeli regime has already violated the ceasefire before the ink had dried, targeting an ambulance in southern Lebanon alongside bombing several towns in the South.
Netanyahu: “Israel supports the truce but does not include Lebanon”
“Israel supports President Trump’s decision to suspend attacks against Iran for two weeks, provided that Iran immediately opens the Straits and ceases all attacks against the United States, Israel, and countries in the region.”
This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office in the first official statement on the US-Iran ceasefire.
“Israel also supports America’s commitment to ensuring that Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile, and terrorist threat to the United States, Israel, Iran’s Arab neighbors, and the entire world. The United States has informed Israel of its commitment to achieving these goals, shared by the United States, Israel, and Israel’s regional allies, in the upcoming negotiations. The two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon.”
It is therefore obvious that Iran will continue to support the defensive military actions of Hezbollah’s armed wing, the Party of God, a duly elected political component of the Lebanese National Assembly.
Israel to continue strikes on Iran, operations against Hezbollah — The Times of Israel
The Israeli Air Force continues to deliver strikes on Iran despite a ceasefire announcement, The Times of Israel wrote, citing an unnamed security official, as reported by authoritative source such as TASS Russian News Agency.
Additionally, there are no signs that Israel is stopping its operations against Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, although Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the ceasefire is “effective immediately,” including “Lebanon and elsewhere.”
At the same time, The Times of Israel said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made at least two announcements about missile launches from Iran “since the ceasefire was reportedly supposed to take effect.”

Press TV Exclusive: US suffered major strategic defeat in failed Isfahan operation
Information obtained by Press TV regarding the recent operation by the US-Israeli coalition in the central Isfahan province reveals a major strategic defeat for the enemy.
US President Donald Trump’s frantic threats in the past few days to target Iran’s civilian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, are a direct consequence of the heavy defeat suffered by the US forces in the Isfahan operation.
The failed raid was carried out after the enemy conducted extensive aerial reconnaissance operations in the days leading up to the attack, according to the exclusive information.
During those initial infiltration and reconnaissance missions, the US and possibly the Zionist regime lost a significant number of aircraft, including at least one A-10 Thunderbolt II and two Black Hawk helicopters.
It has now become clear that this operation had no connection to the claimed rescue of a downed F-15 fighter pilot, a narrative initially pushed by American officials.
Instead, evidence examined and confirmed by Press TV indicates that the real objective was to infiltrate and attack one of Iran’s nuclear facilities in Isfahan.
The landing site for C-130 transport aircraft, chosen based on previous reconnaissance, was an abandoned airstrip located dangerously close to one of these nuclear sites.
Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has publicly urged the US military and Pentagon officials to actively defy US President Donald Trump and refuse orders if he attempts to launch nuclear weapons against Iran.
In a The Tucker Carlson Show episode released on April 7, Carlson warned that the administration is “completely out of control” and that the logic of escalation in the US-Israeli war on Iran is leading toward an unimaginable catastrophe.
US denies nuclear plan as deadline on threat to Iran ‘civilisation’ looms
The White House has denied that it has any plans to use nuclear weapons against Iran as a deadline imposed by President Donald Trump for Tehran to make a deal or face a massive onslaught looms.
Too dangerous: Russia evacuates employees from Bushehr NPP
During the conflict in the Middle East, the American-Israeli coalition carried out several strikes on the city of Bushehr, there are hits on the territory of the nuclear power plant. Due to the deteriorating situation, it was decided to evacuate Russian employees, and on April 6 175 people were taken through the corridor in Armenia.
They took a special flight from Yerevan to Moscow. The Russian Diplomatic Mission thanked its Armenian colleagues for the prompt registration of the entry of Rosatom employees. Since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East, 509 Russian citizens have returned to their homeland through Armenia.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed regret over the actions of the United States and Israel.:
“Of particular concern are the increasing reckless attacks on the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which have resulted in human casualties. The shadow of a radiological catastrophe, more devastating than Chernobyl, hangs over the Persian Gulf region and the adjacent part of Eurasia.“

Health authorities in the southern port city of Bushehr, home to Iran’s only nuclear power plant, have distributed 180,000 iodine tablets to residents as part of an emergency preparedness plan. They are intended for use in the event of a radiological accident.
Iran: China and Russia Block UN Resolution on Hormuz Security
Russia and China have vetoed a UN resolution aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Moscow and Beijing’s vetoes came despite the resolution having been repeatedly watered down to convince the two countries to abstain. Netanyahu: Bridges and railways hit in Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the IDF has struck “railways and bridges used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards” to “transport raw materials for weapons, armaments, and militants who attack us, the United States, and even countries in the region.” The attacks, he added, are being conducted “with increasing intensity.”

Bombs in Tehran, Synagogue also Hit
Columns of smoke rise into the sky as a result of the US and Israeli strikes on Tehran
A US or Israeli airstrike also leveled a synagogue in central Tehran, according to the semi-official Mehr news agency.
The building was destroyed during an intensification of airstrikes on the Iranian capital, which in recent weeks have hit urban areas, causing damage to civilian infrastructure and several casualties.
The Iranian Red Crescent (IRCS) reports that “relief and rescue” operations are underway in the capital following a US and Israeli airstrike.
In a post on X, the IRCS explains that another residential area was “targeted” by the latest attack. A video also published on X shows rescuers working among the rubble of collapsed buildings and assisting the injured.

Iran offered 10-point proposal to end war with US and Israel – NYT
The New York Times has reported details of what it says is a 10-point Iranian proposal aimed at ending the war, which includes a fee to pass the Strait of Hormuz and ending Israeli attacks on Hezbollah.
The plan was reportedly conveyed through Pakistan, which has been acting as a key intermediary in the conflict, but appeared unlikely to resolve major issues ahead of President Donald Trump’s Tuesday evening deadline for new attacks on Iran.
Two senior Iranian officials, speaking anonymously to discuss the sensitive negotiations, said the proposal includes guarantees that Iran would not face further attacks, an end to Israeli strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the lifting of all sanctions on Tehran.
In return, Iran would lift its de facto blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the vital shipping route through which a large share of global oil supplies passes.
Under the proposal, Iran would also impose a fee of roughly $2 million per ship transiting the strait, splitting the proceeds with Oman, which sits across the waterway.
Tehran would use its share of the funds to rebuild infrastructure damaged in US and Israeli strikes, rather than seek direct compensation, according to the plan.

Iran rejects US-proposed ceasefire saying it’s ‘just a pause before renewed crimes’
Iran has REJECTED the latest ceasefire proposal, emphasizing the necessity of a permanent end to the war with the United States and Israel.
“Iran’s also suggesting 10 different clauses: an end to the conflict in the region, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and the lifting of sanctions in addition to reconstruction.”
Iran rejects the US’s self-proclaimed proposals for a ceasefire, warning that any pauses resulting from such a ceasefire would only allow adversaries to regroup and commit further crimes against the Iranian nation, according to Press TV.
At a press conference on Monday, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baghaei addressed various proposals, including a 15-point American one supposedly aimed at ending Washington’s February 28-present unprovoked aggression towards the Islamic Republic, which have been conveyed to Tehran via intermediaries.
Among other things, the proposal reportedly asks Iran to forgo its peaceful nuclear activities, limit its defensive missile program, and reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz that it has closed to enemies and their allies in retaliation.
Iran has categorically rejected the first two provisions. It has also asserted that it would not settle for the enemies’ self-described, unilateral, and unguaranteed “ceasefire” pledges, stressing that it pursues a conclusive end to any aggression targeting the country.
Additionally, the Islamic Republic has demanded compensation for the extensive damage that the aggressors have inflicted upon the country’s various infrastructural facilities.
Iran threatens Bab al-Mandeb closure
«A top adviser to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has threatened that Iranian allies could shut the Bab al-Mandeb shipping route as Tehran has effectively done with the Strait of Hormuz»Al Jazeera TV has reported.
The Bab-al-Mandeb connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and is a crucial waterway for global oil trade. Its importance has increased since Iran’s effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz – through which 20 percent of the world’s oil and gas is shipped in peacetime.
Ali Akbar Velayati, a former Iranian foreign minister and veteran diplomat known for his influence within the establishment, warned on Sunday on X that “the unified command of the Resistance front views Bab al-Mandeb as it does Hormuz”.
“If the White House dares to repeat its foolish mistakes, it will soon realize that the flow of global energy and trade can be disrupted with a single move,” Velayati wrote. Iran’s state-owned Press TV subsequently confirmed his warning.

US-Israeli attacks intensify, killing 34, as Iran rejects Hormuz deadline
US-Israeli attacks have killed at least 34 people across Iran, including at least six children.
Iran warns of retaliatory attacks after US President Donald Trump sets a Tuesday deadline for Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face raids on its power plants and bridges.
US-Israeli strikes targeted the Iranian cities of Tehran and Qom early Monday, killing at least 18 civilians and striking a gas facility, according to local officials, as reported by Al Mayadeen Lebanese TV.
The attacks hit residential areas, a university, and critical energy infrastructure, in a continued escalation of US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
A security official in the capital confirmed that 13 people were killed in a preliminary toll after two residential buildings were targeted in the Baharestan area, southwest of Tehran. Rescue operations are still ongoing as emergency teams attempt to save those trapped under the rubble.
In Qom, another security official reported that five civilians were killed and several others injured after strikes hit a densely populated residential neighborhood at dawn.

President of Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Masoud Tegrishi, said, “The US-Israeli aggression launched a raid this morning on one of the university’s buildings, and unfortunately, it sustained damage. This attack did not result in any human casualties.”
In a post on X, the First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref, said, “The use of bunker-busting bombs in the attack on Sharif University is a symbol of Donald Trump’s madness and ignorance.
“Trump does not realize that Iran’s knowledge is not concrete to be destroyed by bombs; the true fortress is the will of our professors and our intellectual elite,” he added.
IRGC Navy pounds key US-Israeli targets in wave 97 of Operation True Promise 4
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that its naval forces conducted a large-scale combined missile-and-drone operation against pivotal American and Zionist targets.
Among the key targets was a hideout used by American commanders and officers at a location near the Mohammad al-Ahmad naval base in Kuwait. The site was obliterated by precision strikes using multiple ballistic missiles and attack drones, the IRGC said.
The attack, which follows Saturday’s strike on a US command centre and training facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has so far killed or injured 25.

Trump’s ultimatum to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz expires Tuesday evening
In the image above Trump is crying beside a Black Hawk US Helicopter downing by IRGC
US President Donald Trump said Tuesday evening is the deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or face attacks on critical infrastructure, according to an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Sunday.
“If they don’t do something by Tuesday evening, they’ll have no power plants left, and they’ll have no bridges left standing,” Trump told the Journal. In a social media post published Sunday morning, Trump said Iran would face infrastructure attacks if it didn’t open the Strait by Tuesday.
Two days ago he had given Monday as the last day, is he perhaps afraid of unleashing the final attack for fear that Iranmight annihilate all American industrial and military activity in the Persian Gulf and perhaps sink the aircraft carrier USS Abtahm Lincoln which has been lightly hit several times???
Oman, Iran open diplomatic talks to restore Strait of Hormuz transit
Oman and Iran are reportedly holding a meeting to examine options to ensure smooth flow of transit for ships, through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran and Oman share that critical waterway, but Iran has been asserting control over it, since the war started. The few ships that Tehran has allowed to pass through the Strait have been forced to cross closer to Iran’s coast.
Iraq has been already exempted from restrictions imposed on passage through the Strait of Hormuz, according to a statement by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces.
“Brotherly Iraq has been exempted from the restrictions imposed in relation to the Strait of Hormuz,” Iran’s Al Alam TV channel quoted the statement as saying. The headquarters stressed that “the restrictions apply only to hostile countries.”.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has begun imposing a formal toll system on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, charging fees in Chinese yuan and requiring ships to fly the flags of “friendly” nations to avoid attack, Bloomberg reported, citing shipping industry sources and government officials.
The burgeoning system requires ship operators to contact an IRGC-linked intermediary to provide sensitive data, including ownership details, crew lists, and Automated Identification System (AIS) data. Following a security screening to ensure no links to Israel or the United States, fees are negotiated based on a five-tier classification of the vessel’s flag state, with tankers typically charged approximately $1 per barrel of oil.
Iran urges world to prevent ‘atrocious acts’ after Trump threats
«On this most sacred day of the Christian faith, a US president who claims to be a Christian issues a threat to a nation of 94 million people, including over 500,000, Christians—threatening to commit war crimes (pursuant to Geneva Convention) against their civilian infrastructure» John Leake has written on his Substack.
The Iranian mission to the UN has condemned Trump’s latest remarks, saying the US president is threatening “to destroy infrastructure essential to civilian survival” in the country, Al Jazeera wrote.
“If the conscience of the United Nations were alive, it would not remain silent in the face of the overt and shameless threat by the war-mongering President of the United States to target civilian infrastructure. Trump seeks to drag the region into an endless war,” the mission said on X.
“This is direct and public incitement to terrorise civilians and clear evidence of intent to commit [a] war crime,” it said.
“The international community and all States have legal obligations to prevent such atrocious acts of war crimes. They must act now. Tomorrow is too late.”
US President Donald Trump has renewed his threat to unleash “hell” on Iran if it continues to keep Strait of Hormuz closed, saying Washington will destroy Iranian power plants and bridges.
IRGC vows harsher retaliation if US, Israel strike more civilian infrastructure
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned that any further attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran’s civilian infrastructure would trigger even more forceful retaliatory attacks on enemy targets, Press Tv has reported.
The IRGC’s Public Relations Department said in a Sunday statement that the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force “set fire” to enemy targets in the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait during the 96th wave of Operation True Promise 4 on Sunday morning.
China’s foreign minister says ceasefire critical to reopening Hormuz

US rescues second pilot downed in Iran, Trump confirms
The United States has rescued the second crew member of a US F-15 jet shot down, President Donald Trump confirms, as Iran claims another US aircraft involved in the rescue has been downed in the province of Isfahan.
“This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies,” Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday. “He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine.”
The airman, who Trump said held the rank of colonel, was the second member of a two-person crew of an F-15 that Iran said on Friday had been brought down by its air defences.
Iranian Command Says US Pilot Rescue Mission Fails, 2 Helicopters Shot Down
But the Pasdaran press office denies the rescue and speaks of “a trap set for the enemy American plane that had entered Iran to rescue the pilot,” about which Iranian TV station IRIB had also broadcast an announcement “addressed to the residents of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad: capture the enemy pilot or pilots and hand them over alive to the authorities, to obtain a large reward.”
The US mission to rescue the pilot failed, with two Black Hawk helicopters and a C-130 support aircraft shot down, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesperson for the Khatam Al-Anbiya central headquarters of the Iranian military command, said on Sunday.

The general understands what he is talking about better than the “innovators” of the Pentagon, who are conducting a global purge of personnel and plan to turn the American army into an inhuman machine that destroys anything quickly and without reasoning.
The Pentagon has already requested 1.5 trillion dollars from Congress for 2027, which means an increase in the cost of the war by more than 40%. Grandpa Donald clearly decided to drain as much money as possible from the country’s budget, hiding behind the slogan of “America’s greatness.”

Iran Strikes Second US Plane, A-10 Pilot Saved
Tensions are rising in the Persian Gulf following confirmation that the second US warplane that crashed on Friday was also shot down by Iranian forces. The Wall Street Journal reported this, confirming a previous claim by Tehran’s military leadership.
The aircraft involved is an A-10 Thunderbolt II, the famous single-seat ground attack jet known as the “Warthog.” According to sources familiar with the incident, the pilot managed to maneuver the twin-engine plane out of Iranian airspace before ejecting and escaping to safety. The wreckage of the jet, therefore, did not fall into enemy territory, unlike what happened in the first incident of the day.

Retired US General: “The greatest geopolitical disaster in US history before our eyes”
Retired Brig. Gen. Steve Anderson lays it bare: Trump and his advisers have completely mismanaged the Iran war.
“When I was a cadet at West Point 50 years ago, we studied Sun Tzu. One of the things he said was, ‘Know the enemy as yourself.’ We do not know this enemy,” he said.
He warns that deploying troops anywhere — whether it be Kharg Island, the Strait of Hormuz, or nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Fordow — would be an absolute disaster.
If we think we’re going to take Kharg Island and diminish their revenues — and that they care about that — that is ludicrous.

Iran says it shot down US A-10 aircraft in Strait of Hormuz area
Iran says it shot down a US A-10 aircraft near the Strait of Hormuz, Tasnim news agency is reporting, according to Al Jazeera
Citing the army public relations team, the report said the aircraft was targeted in waters south of and around the strategic waterway.
The claim could not be independently verified. The A-10 is a US ground-attack aircraft designed for close air support missions, particularly against armoured vehicles and ground forces.
This come after US media reports said a second US Air Force combat plane had crashed in the Gulf region on Friday.
The IRGC struck Israeli military centers in Western al-Jalil, Haifa, Kafr Kanna, and Krayot.
The IRGC stated that this latest wave of missile strikes was carried out jointly with the Islamic Resistance and involved a combination of long-range, guided missiles with both solid and liquid fuel, as well as one-way attack drones.
The operation, continuous and ongoing according to the IRGC, is dedicated to the memory of the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmad Yassin.
According to the IRGC, further information and assessments of the results will be shared with the public in due course.

US attempts to rescue pilots whose jets were shot down foiled – VIDEO
One of the two pilots of the American fighter jet downed in Iran has been recovered, CBS and the Jerusalem Post reported.
The F-15E is a two-man aircraft, and there is currently no news of the second pilot, who is believed to have ejected and parachuted to the ground. The rescue mission, according to CBS, is still ongoing, but Tehran media reports that the US helicopter involved in the search was hit by an Iranian projectile.
Iranian state television has reported that the country’s armed forces are calling on civilians to assist in capturing American pilots alive, offering a “valuable reward” for information or action leading to their capture.
The appeal follows reports by Iranian media that a US fighter jet was shot down earlier on Friday, prompting an attempted rescue operation that ultimately failed. A US official confirmed to Reuters that a US fighter jet was downed and search and rescue operations were underway for any survivors, without offering any other details. CENTCOM and the Pentagon did not respond to requests for comments.

According to Tasnim news agency, citing unnamed sources, the US military dispatched several helicopters alongside a transport aircraft in an effort to recover the pilots.

The operation reportedly involved Black Hawk helicopter units and a C-130 Hercules, which entered the area hours after the aircraft was downed.
Earlier today, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Aerospace Force hit and downed a United States F-15 fighter jet operating over central Iran, the spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, announced.
“Due to the severe explosion upon impact and crash, it is unlikely that the pilot was able to eject,” Zolfaghari said.
The Iranian news agency IRNA claims that the US Air Force’s search operation was unsuccessful, and fighting with Iranian forces ensued. Some Iranian media outlets report that one of the US helicopters was shot down during the clash.
Meanwhile, Iran’s private news agency Tasnim offers its own version of events. It reports that one of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters came under fire from Iranian air defense systems near the border and was forced to leave the operation zone.
According to the agency, the ejected American fighter pilot may have been captured by the IRGC.

The US accidentally revealed the location from where the bombers take off to strike Iran
«The United States accidentally revealed the location from where the bombers take off to strike Iran. CENTCOM published a photo of a B-52 Stratofortress bomber during refueling over Saudi Arabia, according to which an accurate geolocation was established — a point 240 km east of Riyadh and less than 400 km from the Iranian coast» News-Pravda has written.
Initially, it was believed that the United States had maximally distanced aviation from Iran and was using the B-52 exclusively as carriers of JASSM cruise missiles. However, the type of combat load in the published images refutes this hypothesis. Presumably, Mk-84 aerial bombs (910 kg each) with JDAM satellite guidance kits are suspended from the pylons of the aircraft.
Using guided bombs instead of cruise missiles means that B-52s can enter where the Iranian air defenses used to be. This indicates either a shortage of expensive cruise missiles, or the Pentagon’s confidence that the skies over Iran are already safe enough for the operation of this type of aircraft and the use of these munitions.
