Religious Terrorism in the Holy Land Prophesied by the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem

“The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches also note with concern that these individuals have been officially welcomed, both locally and internationally. Such actions constitute interference in the internal life of the Churches and a disrespect for the pastoral responsibility entrusted to the Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches of Jerusalem.”
The statement from the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem states, implicitly referring to proponents of “Christian Zionism,” such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who promoted it in a public meeting with evangelical pastors in Florida, the U.S. state where President Trump lives.
“The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches of Jerusalem reaffirm that they are the only ones to represent the Churches and their flock in matters relating to Christian religious, communal, and pastoral life in the Holy Land. May the Lord, Shepherd and Guardian of souls, grant wisdom to protect His people and safeguard His testimony in this sacred land,” concludes Theophilus III.
