Outside venture funding for the AmplifyBio deal totals $100 million, with Battelle bringing the other $100 million for a total of $200 million. “We are equal owners with the private investors we brought in,” Lou Von Thaer, president and CEO of Battelle, the Columbus-based nonprofit research and development institution, told the Dispatch.
