Israeli journalist Dmitry Dubov, former editor-in-chief of the Israeli news service Channel 9, said this in an interview with the haqqin.az portal.
Discussing Operation Days of Atonement and the consequences of growing Iranian influence, he expressed the opinion that current Israeli and international efforts would not be able to stop Iran’s nuclear program.
Dubov stressed that despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s constant warnings and statements about the need to stop Iran, the problem, in his opinion, has already gone too far.
Currently, Iran’s nuclear infrastructure is so deeply rooted and dispersed that Israel is unlikely to be able to effectively destroy it without the participation of the United States.

According to Dubov, Iran is seeking nuclear status not out of aggression, but in order to strengthen its defense and strengthen its influence in the Middle East.
